The cost of the tuner package on top of $130k+ Panamera Turbo puts the final price in Aston Martin Rapide territory. Comparing those two would be like a beauty contest pitting Heidi Klum against Heidi Fleiss.

It would be cool to see a classic Indy race car like this one, beautifully illustrated by Makoto Ouchi

@Disadvantage: I have my Saturn and Pontiac in the driveway and my Eagle and Geo out front so there's really no other place for the Olds. Plus there's this 80-year-old guy down the way who has been giving me the eye ever since his Cutlass Supreme bit the big one.

@Disadvantage: Stupid El Niño always messing up my weather. BTW El Niño is Spanish for "The Niño"

Remember the double-tap, Ford. You don't want an undead brand to come back and bite you.

@misterminis: The impressive part is not that it went 3000 or 4000 mph, but that it was able to fly at mach 5 for 3 minutes. If it flew lower it would probably be able to fly faster because fluid behaves in a similar way at the same Mach number.

Looks like it would be a nice upgrade for the Spirit of America. You wouldn't be afraid to drive it, would you Craig?

I picked the Avantime because it could fit a Sumo wrestler. Also, I hate it when I slide the seat all the way back and there is a B pillar right next to my head blocking my peripheral vision.

A very cool car with acres of potential. And if you buy it, you'll have Rambler parts strewn across acres of your property. Set aside some money for a nice "thanks for putting up with this" gift for your spouse.

I think that the 3.73 rear axle is optional on the 5.0. Fit it with some lighter wheels and stickier tires and the GT500's advantage would be a lot narrower. 550 hp is great if you can get the power down to the road. The photos suggest that what it's really good for is its superior ability to vaporize its tires.

I hope this means lots of jobs for the East Bay. If it does, I salute you Mr. Musk.

@Echtbrummbaer: Do I really need to explain that this isn't the finished product? It's a Jesse James bike that was featured on Monster Garage. This picture is of Shaq trying the bike on for size before it was completed.

Like clothes, the best vehicles are custom-tailored to fit you. It's a pity most of us can't afford it. Good work Macfarlane.A

@Sam Smith: At first I thought this was a screen capture from a video game. This photo would make a lot of professional photographers (and amateurs such as me) jealous. Great work.

I was pretty sure that Citroen SM was the go-to answer whenever Mazda Miata wasn't appropriate, but in this case I think a Renault Avantime is the answer.

Boo! Hiss!

@VeeArrrSix: You might as well wait for the MkVI. I'd love to upgrade to a Golf R when it gets here but I have a feeling that my wife will think it's a bit frivolous.

@SheerHippo: I drive about 300 miles a week. That's not a whole lot but I'm not a shut-in.
