@philibuster: I heard that in Germany it's going to be marketed as the Opel Dolphinflogger

@Joe Valasek: As far as I'm considered Porsche and Nissan are both effing liars until an independent party can prove their claims. Top Gear testing would be great but they should also have a pre-race inspection to prevent any shenanigans.

My GTI is called Frosty. He's white and I got him in December. We definitely have a bromance going on. My friend calls him Snowflake and that pisses me off because that's totally a girl's name.

+1 for the vanity plate. Now we know what inspired this project

Have 15 children. Drive them all around in a bus. Brainwash them all into thinking that God wants them to have 15 children too. And 15 more buses.

@MplsCarPunk: My GTI wants to be a rapper. Every so often it will randomly turn up the bass by about 500%. To fix this, I have to hit the star button twice-you know the one by the button with the phone on it that does absolutely nothing.

@watcher_b: I filed in January. It took about 1.5 months to get my CA refund via direct deposit. Federal took about a week.

I would love to drive this except it would have to have a very quiet exhaust system on it and it would need to look a lot ricier - primered body kit half falling off, tons of stickers, windshield washer LEDs, metallic spray painted mesh in the grille, etc. It would be a total sleeper. I can imagine some mid-lifer

4 turbos - good

It would be marketed under the Efficient dynamics banner

I'll buy one, but only if it has a flying bridge. I want to turn the bed into a hottub and drive from there. Plus it needs to be running on 24s at least. And the inside needs to be filled with stereo equipment. Yeah...

@jbh11126: Then that was the Hyundai of comments

@Tucker589: I agree, but purely for environmental reasons. Deforestation and bovine emissions are major causes for our changing climate.

@cchannel would love him some X6 M: You know, the ES is on its 5th generation and only the most current one is designated ES 350. As for it looking like a Lexus, I wouldn't consider that a compliment.

@zeet: I think it's hilarious that my roommate's "Wolfsburg Edition" Jetta is built in Mexico, but she's had no issues with it whatsoever. My GTI was actually assembled in Wolfsburg and I've had it in the shop several times for recalls and once to have the AC replaced (under warranty). All three of the dealerships

@oddboxalfa: Red and blue lighting? Where did you get a crazy idea like that? Ze Germans?
