I've gone that fast in an electric… train.

@Ash78: A lot of good cars are Japanese/

I wonder how long GM planned for Saturn to be around. I wouldn't be surprised if they planned it to be a disposable brand from the first place. Brands like Plymouth and Oldsmobile chased their core customers to the grave; and when the customers died so did the brands. GM used the Geo brand to rebrand Japanese cars

@lilwillie: be a pal and grab me some Chevron stock while you're back there would ya?

@jarque: Ok to answer my own question the only other American RMR cars I can think of are the Ford GT, the Saleen S7 and some other really low volume stuff like Moslers

Has there been a mid engine American car since the Fiero? I can't think of any

@jarque: Ack, I've misspelled. I guess that's too many gint-onics for me.

@Ash78: word is that they're going to follow this one with a stretched verion called the mor-onic

It looks like they're saving money by recycling old Lincoln designs. Maybe Cerberus is angling for Ford to buy Jeep.

So if the anemic version is 32K how much will this be? And no mention of SH-AWD? I think the I4 turbo from the RDX with SH-AWD would make a lot more sense. That would tempt me. I wonder how much it would cost me to get the Euro market grill…

@plyhard13: If history is repeated Audi will place 3rd, and 2nd, and 1st

I was hoping they would change the grill more for the SHO. It's gone from the "Hi, I'm Dave" Gilette Mach 3 look to the"Hi, I have multiple personalities" Remington Microscreen style

Congrats Matt! I'm excited today because my fiance agrees that having our wedding reception at the Blackhawk Auto Museum is a great idea. I hope we can afford it!

@LUV_TRUK: Ick! I thought driving it in a 2001 Civic was bad.

@FromaBuick6: Leave the Camaro alone! We've seen pictures of pre-production models rolling off the assembly line so it's not like it's going to be that long before they show up on dealer lots… if there are any dealers left.

@bruxell: How sure are we that Elvis owned this beauty? I see no bulletholes or remnants of fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.

@416Hammy: The first one I saw on the road was tearing up the street on Monday. It was gunmetal gray and looks a lot better in that color than the yellow in most of the press photos. It would match my fiance's rogue nicely. Damn this financiacolypse!
