Electronic parking brake.
Are you serious dude? I’ve read practically every piece you’ve written here, I apologize if you are offended by my wording but that’s not my point. I know damn well that the AIM-9X is a great weapons system. It’s not necessarily a critical mission for the F-22 however. I disagree with your premise that it is “sad” it…
Okay Tyler, I love your articles but tone down the outrage here. The F-22 was developed to be sneaky, smart, and in a pinch maneuverable. The USSR doubled down on dogfighting and the US went for long range radar shots. Two F-22’s with a load of AMRAAM’s would whoop the hell out of a squadron of MIG-21’s with Archers…
From experience, any 1980s Japanese bike in the 450-750 class. Cheap to buy, reliable and easy to repair, no real worry about scratching it or dropping it, etc. And next season put it up for sale for exactly what you paid for it and get the bike you want.
A dual -purpose bike like the CRF250L (or go ahead and get the 650 if you’re a big lummox like me). It’s the best of both worlds: All the lane-splitting sweetness on the street, go anywhere a built 4x4 can go off-road, plus you’re (maybe) a little less likely to get all racey on the road when you just don’t possess…
I live in Fargo, and most of the time I think high school journalism stories are better written than some of the stuff Valley News Live puts out.
I have a ton of stories from selling parts and working at car dealerships in general. My favorite one I like to bring up all the time is a customer who brought in a trim piece from an Altima with a chrome accent on it. The accent on the piece he had was broken and he wanted to buy a new one. I looked up the part and…
I worked in dealerships for 10 years, and oh, boy, do I have a bunch. Here’s three that come to mind from my days at GM:
Insanely high beltlines. All of the decades in advancement of safety, and this is what they come up with? I mean sure, more metal, more passive safety and all that jazz...But then you’re like driving around a bunker that you can’t see out of. So it’s like one step forward, two steps back.
Used to work at a dealership in the south as a detailer. We did online advertisement, and actually had a large used car lot. Anyway, a couple comes down from Kansas looking at a dark (blue or grey) BMW 3 Series 2009ish model. It was in the middle of spring, and being in the South, pollen was every where. We cleaned…
And your fabulous VW dealership experience begins.
Found this pic of the Aerotrain which was a monorail, but, it sort of looks like that Batmobile.
Batmobile, aw yeah.
ie most motorcycles
Here is the copy of my carfax.... actually said total loss in 2006 but not reported until 2013
Doesn’t the side marker have to be amber for the US? Seems like the design won’t translate as well for that case because of the amber reflector.
Hmmm...I was always taught (by my rather feminist mother, who began drilling the concept of consent into her three boys at a very early age) that when meeting a woman in a social (or business) situation, I should wait for her to extend a hand, as it allows her to make the choice whether to initiate physical contact.
Just bought a new car last week. The advertised price on the dealers website didn't apply because I wasn't a general contractor, or a mortuary...
We did it more recently than that, too!
They still terrify me.
