This is a pretty apples to apples comparison. And “different engine” is the whole point, that’s literally what’s being compared. If Game A can do something significantly better on the same hardware than Game B, the problem is the software, not (just) the hardware. And again, “more time” is also the point being…

Reeve’s depiction of Superman/Kent absolutely holds up today. I’d be curious about what specifics you’re referring to that you think aren’t good. Because the effects and the story have nothing to do with his acting skill in portraying the character(s).
