I’d forgotten about that Popper idiot. It’s a special kind of raging f-ing moron that will shoot out his own window and windshield because a plastic bottle bounced off his car. How the hell does that sound anything close to a gunshot?

The War Against Christmas!!! Christmas fights back!
Which “war” is the owner of this $100,000+ up-armored truck going to be fighting in? Battling trans-gender initiatives at the local PTA?
If what you are saying about the tires is true (and I’m not saying that you’re wrong), then yeah, what a perfect accessory for the fashionably toxic masculinity set.
To me it screams “I’ve been fully poisoned with toxic masculinity.” I take it as a red flag to stay far away from the driver or anyone who would think this is something that needs to be driven on the streets of the US.
I’ve got a good one where I was both the instigator and 100% at fault. Let me explain...
For starters, I was 16 and had been driving for less than a year. I was a real shitass kid. Not only was I one of those little fucks that think they’re the paragon of wisdom and righteousness at 16, but I was also someone who…
I cannot believe that clown, Popper, got acquitted
Plus, once he starts firing, he looks scared of his own gun. Even if the law says his response was reasonable, his lack of gun control should have resulted in charges. But... if your legal system says his response is reasonable, I guess gun control doesn’t matter. Everyone is just lucky there wasn’t a school bus ahead…
That guy was such a toolbox. Just seeing this gif makes my eyes roll so hard I’m worried one will fall out.
Nothing will happen. He’ll get a desk job with pay. Why? Police unions and laws that state police can’t be found liable for anything they do while on duty. Say it with me people: “sovereign immunity.”
“His checkered past of causing wrecks while on-duty left many in the community wondering why it took a tragic death to get this officer off the road.”
Should have been gone after the second wreck with no lights/siren.
I’m a big believer in the idea of leasing an electric car.
ACAB. Everyone in the chain that kept him employed and on the road. It’s the entire rotten system.
why it took a tragic death to get this officer off the road
“Sprinkle some crack on him, let’s get outta here”
The best part is, now the taxpayers will fund the lawsuit payoff, and the wider organization of lawless law enforcement officers STILL won't have to suffer any real consequences for ignoring, encouraging, or sweeping it under the rug. What a great system!
Holy hell! He crashed 3 patrol cars, probably costing some $50k + each at least and probably a lot more in taxpayer money while breaking policy each time, and only got 1 day suspensions?
Don’t know what your daily miles are, but guessing if they are not huge, a PHEV is your answer. Or you could just rent a car for that trip once or twice a year. It would be longer but cheaper than flying and you have a BEV the other 99% of the time.
To my ears, the “go F*ck Yourself” statement that Elon made sounds a lot like a legally binding and hard to misinterpret release of any advertising contract that a company might have had with X and its CEO.
