Saoirse Ronan is playing Mary so you won't have to. Hooray?

or perhaps Imogen Heap?

Miyazaki!

who am i supposed to root for in this show? so far, i think i'm with the monsters. melissa leo is a close second

Now. Do we suspect there may be some kind of connection between Ben and Glory?

i'm pretty sure that's exactly what these new movies are doing. he's in high school but there is no origin story. peter parker is already spider-man. i just hope the inevitable exposition/flashbacks won't be too ponderous

i would say somewhere in the middle. i thought it was fun, but it's also not a great film. i put it somewhere in Deep Blue Sea territory

HONK!

apparently this new reboot is skipping the origin story. he will already be spider-man when he makes his first appearance

i wrote something similar earlier in the season (albeit, much less detailed). there's even a specific piece of music that sounds lifted directly from nolan's batman movies. there's an interview somewhere with one of arrow's producers talking about how any parallels between nolan's batman movies and arrow have been

also, didn't felicity suggest that ray go save oliver at the expense of thousands of innocent lives right before he balked and she took the suit herself?

i know there is a certain level of disbelief you have to suspend to enjoy superhero entertainment, but man, this. fucking. season. (was not good) i think i may have enjoyed agents of shield more this season than arrow and i'm not even one of those people who thinks aos has been great this season. i can't think of a

ah ok. i guess the way you phrased it as "retcon(ning) every part of their relationship" kinda threw me. it definitely gives the relationship a superfluous (and contrived) dimension but it doesn't really change anything essential about their relationship in my opinion. and i believe it does get mentioned again. i

hopefully with the grounder attacks looming the show will do a better job of portraying the horror of what Finn did amid the repercussions of his actions. the non-reactions from the others disturbed me more than Finn's attitude probably because I'm kind of hoping he does in fact turn into some wild sociopath

i'm still holding out hope that she survived on the 100. although i think it will be for naught. i liked the growing dynamic between her and blonde protagonist whose name i can't remember

i imagine the implications of his actions will be felt in subsequent episodes. i agree that it is momentous, but more from a character standpoint. it seems at this point in the season, ward's family is not particularly germane to the larger narrative of the race against hydra to find the mysterious city

i think this might be my favorite episode so far this season. the disparate storylines are finally coalescing and it appears that we are finally getting some narrative momentum. everyone seems to have a clear purpose. too bad about the 2 week break though. it's a shame that dichen lachman was dispensed with so

first sara on arrow, now anya. damn you tv gods!

agreed. i think it would be cool if the mcu "mutants" we're the descendents of inhumans that left attilan and procreated with humans. that way we could get some superpowered beings on AOS with an inhuman background but not actualy inhumans until the film

also, i would imagine that this symbol storyline would have to resolve itself sooner rather than later and it seems way too early to be getting too deep into inhumans territory 3-4 years out. cap 3, dr. strange, guardians 2, thor 3, black panther, infinity war part 1, and captain marvel will all happen before inhumans
