While motorcycling through Yellowstone at night, I came about 3 feet from slamming into a buffalo. I think we both scared each other about the same amount. Eery that I was close enough to hear it's hooves scrapping to avoid me, as I was avoiding it. Wish I had my camera on for that one.

If I was a train owner/operator I would electronically limit the speed of the trains for each section of track, with a manual over-ride that operators could use in emergencies. Why couldn't you map out the different speed limit zones, and with GPS have the train computer control the top speed allowed? Sounds simple…
