To give them some credit, I’ve had much better luck getting copies of niche games from them than other outlets.  You know how many copies of SMT V Best Buy had on launch day?  None.  They only bought enough to cover pre-orders.  Same case with 13 Sentinels.  I was able to get both on day 1 from Gamestop.

I think we’ll get one in mid to late June to hype up Xenoblade 3 and show more info on Splatoon 3. A Splat specific direct will probably follow in July or August, along with a server test announcement.

By the description, it sounds like what Ground Zeros was to The Phantom Pain.  A large, fully realized tech demo.

Marketing. That’s all it is. Find a demographic, make a character that panders to them. Make merch. Profit.

Non-fatal is probably the more appropriate term.  Even Batman has done enough damage to put thugs on life support.  But as long as it doesn't kill them...

I think a sequel to MK8 would really need to evolve the series in some way, like how the gilder did in 7, and the antigrav segments did in 8.

My guess would be rendering larger portions of the city at once.  With the Arkham games, they only have to worry about what Batman is seeing at the present area, and be ready to spawn in new assets in whatever direction he’s heading.  With two players running around an open world city, they need to account for both.

It looks like a co-op loot grind, similar to Avengers.  I could easily see them adding more post-game missions to encourage players to keep playing after the credits roll.

The trailer specifically says that Jason is using non-lethal rounds. Either Jason has fallen back in line with Brue’s teachings at this point, or it’s a middle ground compromise that they’ve agreed to.

It could just mean that Link finds some ancient tech and the old Goron left him a message behind.  Given this Zelda's interest in archeology, I'd say it's a plausible option.

Im thinking this game will show how we went from Ganondorf, the Gerudo King, to Calamity Ganon, some primal ethereal force. The initial teaser did show mummified remains that may have been his last mortal form.

Only for the fiscal year.  I think Valve is using the Gregorian Calendar, since my reservation page says Q3 July-September.

Q3 for me.  Hopefully that’ll lean closer to July then September.

You can only get 12 strikes in a game of bowling.  10 frames, plus the chance to bowl two more on the 10th.

Pretty long, especially for a game that is consistantly getting new players. I’ve been subscribed for over a year, and only just got to that point in HW a couple weeks ago. It’s different than movies, TV shows, or books that are considered complete as soon as they are released.

Look Zuckerburger, the Quest is an awesome idea. It’s a way for anyone that doesn’t have a big rig PC or a lot of empty space to experience VR at home. I was absolutely floored when I demoed it at Best Buy.

Why sell it for $30 when they sell a year access to it for the same price?

I’m guessing it’ll be treated like sale space for IRL billboards and newspaper ads.

Ads in games aren’t really a new concept. A notable example that comes to mind is that Obama bought billboard space for his presidential campaign in Burnout Paradise.

Hopefully they won’t go after ToonTown Rewritten. The team behind that has gone above and beyond to add to the game and keep it free for users.
