Personally, I’d rather they do a world based on The Incredibles, rather than a Marvel based world. If they did do Marvel, don’t just do a standard MCU world. Maybe have the world take place in an actual comic book, and moving between the panels as a gameplay feature.

I’d be down with that. They don’t really seem like real people playing. They just put on these weird and over the top personas, which usually don’t mix well with normal players.

The main flaw in your argument is that there’s no universal baseline for what good and bad is. What might be considered playful banter to one is harassment to another. These standards change with both time and location as well.

So effectively, PSNow members get the top tier, even if they didn’t have PS+.  Meanwhile PS+ members who didn’t have PSNow get the bottom tier.  Is that right?

That’s good.  It feels like the first campaign is meant to be a ‘natural’ playthrough, then they allow you to see what you need to get the other paths and endings.

Do your morality points carry over?  One of them increases by talking to NPCs, and another increases by examining objects.

If you’re going to quote me, use the entire statement, including the part about mediation and resolution.  People are complicated.  What may offend one person may not be a big deal for someone else.  If someone is offended, they should have a way to make their thoughts known to others.

It sounds like no bullshit means no beating your way around the bush, no double speak, no hiding what you feel.  If you have an opinion on something, just be blunt and outright say it.  Yes, it may offend someone, but what doesn’t these days?

My guess is that between the theme parks, movie, and games, Nintendo is trying to codify a specific style for Mario’s world.  A world that doesn’t include Miis as inhabitants.

Yeah, I got that feel from the demo alone. These aren’t just a bunch of token character votes that you can easily manipulate to your whim. They’re aware of the choices you make, and how you choose to govern. I believe the other actions and dialogue choices that influence your resolve impact how easy is is to persuade…

Going by the Wiki, it sounds like it isn’t the same world as FF, but one based on it. I haven’t played the demo yet, so I don’t know much about the notes.

I’m kind of interested in the story of this game.  As opposed to the rest of the series, the original Final Fantasy doesn’t have much in terms of characters or worldbuilding.  Even in Dissidia, the game is just represented by Warrior of Light, rather than a named hero. 

You’re ignoring the fact that adding an easy mode costs time and money.  Time and money that can be spent on making the normal game better for the intended audience.

Yeah, it’s like players want this instant gratification of just being able to play through a game with no challenge or effort. I died against the Hydra 20+ times in Hades, but when I finally beat him, it felt SO worth it. Each defeat was a lesson learned, and now I almost never die to him.

Im not trying to compare the two directly, given the different gameplay.  I've just seen so many open world wilderness games that are lifeless and empty because the designers barely consider the terrain beyond the biome and major landmarks.  Every hill and valley needs to serve a purpose.
