Actually all of those stations picture from the Moscow subway were Soviet era stations, and most of them Stalin era. Built to give the be the "people's/workers' palaces" rather than the tsarist palaces... They really are stunningly beautiful and the trains run efficiently. Strange silence on many of them though.

I suppose this is kind of off topic, but it probably always will be and something I've thought about a bit over the last few weeks, I love sites like Jalopnik and Deadspin. They are covering topics that are covered in depth by more traditional media outlets and keep managing to do it better in every way imaginable.

I think the use of trend as opposed to fad is quite funny, since both tend to fade away. Also, trend can be pretty much synonymous with fad in certain contexts.

I can just see Godzilla munching on it while terrified Japanese schoolgirls scream within. NP.
