Me neither, but didn't XM merge into Sirius like 3-4 years ago???

They did start on an F-22N naval variant before the budget cuts and when it was clear the F-14 would be retired

We know how shameless Hollywood is... We always get two asteroid disaster movies at the same time, two animated ant movies at the same time, etc.

@trustissues: Re: republican war mongers

Jalopnik, give us an update on Lenny the Batman... Last we heard he was having a proper Batmobile built.

Now playing

And they did say tower 7 was going to be "pulled" before it happened.

"inbred morons think that the laws of physics can be halted for a day" — you know that the world's leading physicists also think that, right? The big bang violates so many laws of physics and most physicists believe the laws of the universe, such as the speed of light, are not immutable, and in fact they can't be for

Hmm, a new twist on "sacking" the Quarterback

Thank you for enlightening me

One way ticket, please, one way ticket

Can you educate me here? Two solid axles what balljoints are you talking about?

TPM is a terrible movie because of its flawed storytelling. YOU are the one who took it into the realm of box office results, reasoning it couldn't have been that bad since it was a box office success. Then when you are shown where the prequels truly belong in the hierarchy, you retreat from that argument.

Do you remember the unprecedented amount of hype going into TPM? It was easily the most anticipated film ever, or at least in modern history. People couldn't believe after 15 years there would actually be more Star Wars.

Take a look at adjusted-for-inflation domestic box office. There was an interesting thread on it on theforce.net. These numbers are rough and based on memory, and in 1977 dollars:

It appears you are too young to know what an impact the original trilogy had on society at large. The prequel trilogy is merely a shadow of it. And there's a reason for it. They fail as entertainment, as films. The magic is not there.

To be fair look up the times of the equivalent econobox of the Prius at that same time.

Large Sea Lions? We have those on land. They're called Large Land Sea Lions.

So you see no difference between something that is sprayed on and washes off with water, and having it genetically spliced into the organism itself at a 5,000 times more concentrated level? You can't wash it off. It's built into the corn.

I agree and acknowledge about dosage, but by the same token one can presumably ingest small enough amounts of mercury, cyanide or anthrax without being killed, that doesn't mean one should want to consume any of it.

My "ilk"? I have a master's degree and learned about the kind of things Monsanto is doing on PBS.
