Largely agree with this (but I think there's room for a luxury segment for towing racecars and boats). But they should still be able to go offroad.

As someone who took his then-basketcase 1986 Porsche to a Porsche dealer in 2003 for an inspection, uh, watch out.

So, front wheel drive and engine moved to the front fork?

Yes, special effects and lighting get tricky with a dark skinned black guy.

What, I could totally work at an Acura dealership.

Also recommended, Ben Rich's "Skunk Works" book, his story of taking over for Kelley Johnson and the F-117 was his first big project. Great book on taking over for a legend, Tim Cook should probably read ;)

So is the 4g HSDPA or LTE?

They are actually over 100 years old. Way back you had all these small phone companies and AT&T bought them up forming its monopoly. The government stepped in and forced them to stop and as a result you have these tiny pockets where AT&T/Bell didn't provide local service. I live in one of them.

I'm always jealous of stories like this, because my dad knew zip about cars. Worse he tortured them, washing and/or changing the oil was not in the vocabulary. Always wish I had an uncle or somebody to wrench with.

Not to mention shorter wheelbase, lighter, and IRS. It's got my attention.

Screw LED taillights, fire-backlit taillights FTW.

Lightly used "old" ones (WK) are going for that price, was it a 2010 or earlier? There was a changeover to the WK2 in 2011.

Uh, where. I've been shopping and [truecar.com] puts it just under $44k.

Yeah I should have further said that it's not either of those (especially after the additional pictures), just pointing out it could have been. It's not an Overland because there's no chrome surrounds on the foglights and in the flex pic I can only spot one exhaust which gives away that it's a V6.
