Turning Jalopanese, the refreshing choice

You never heard of Famous Original Oliver’s Pizza? Ask for it Hooligan style.

In that picture up top, it looks like a turd. No further questions.

Hopefully they’ve improved the base Uconnect system. When I ordered my ‘14 Ram I got the smaller 5 inch system, thinking it was the same as the bigger screen version, just with a smaller screen. So, so wrong. It’s a horribly slow, unresponsive, bluetooth-dropping piece of garbage. Which sucks, because the 8-inch

Oh yeah, those can definitely be a little dicey.

All good points. But it still looks dumb.

I also don’t like how tiny the sliding rear window is. Overall it looks pretty good, but considering how much money they will make on these, the areas they cheaped out on are glaring.

Unfortunately, my towing was hampered by a trailer that was bucking and banging around behind the Gladiator’s rear bumper. It wasn’t a particularly comfortable experience, but I think the issue had to do with the trailer setup, and not the truck.

The rear doors really piss me off. More than they should, probably.

Hehe

Goddamn this is a tired (and stupid) take!

I’m still convinced you could get by with just two warning lights.

Impressive. I’m sure they’ll sell dozens of them.

You have reason to doubt that Kia just produced the absolute pinnacle of automotive design and manufacturing? Jaded much?

Both good choices. The Trackhawk seems like overkill to me, but I’m a weenie like that.

I love the idea of a Raptor or other badass truck. They are absolutely “fun to drive.” It’s just a different kind of fun. A better kind.

Exactly. Depending on your perspective, that’s either a good thing or a bad thing. But it’s also true of cars and SUVs as well, not just trucks. 15 years ago all cars didn’t have infotainment systems and backup cameras. Now they do. You could pick any point in automotive history and say “15 years prior, cars were

I bought my first new truck in 2001 and have had 4 new ones since then. I strongly disagree that trucks 15 years ago were pretty much the same and drove the same as trucks today. And of course you can find something cheaper that does “95%” of what a truck does. I can also find a small hatchback that does “95%” of what

15 years ago, they didn’t make the same truck.

Go hang a salami, I’m a lasagna hog.

I actually think full size trucks are a great deal, considering their capabilities. At least compared to full size SUVs. You can get a damn nice crew cab 4x4 with lots of doodads for under $40k easily.
