Yeah the idea as I understand it is to have year-round Trek to keep people subscribed. I too signed up for Disco and cancelled when the first season was done. I’m waiting to re-sub in January and catch up on the Short Treks. But add in Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone and a couple more Trek shows and I’ll stick around.
Did anyone doubt that CBS is planning on making the Picard Trek for as long as it makes money?

I love how he brought up “being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass.” I can not tell how many times I’ve heard people say atrocious things then blame it on their mental health issues.
He always has me near-tears when they bring him on. Like, he’s not a skit guy to put it kindly, but whenever he’s given the leeway to get personal his stuff is great.
