Haddish is lucky that her career is taking off at this moment. Women are now allowed to start asking for the guy fee. Two or three years ago, opening your mouth would have gotten you labeled as difficult. And once you’re difficult, the work starts drying up.

Well, one’s personal taste isn’t the criteria. I personally don’t like much country music, but that doesn’t mean I don’t recognize Willie Nelson’s place in its history. Not liking Janet or Madonna is your own (very very bad) taste, but thinking they don’t belong in the HoF is silly.

I love how he brought up “being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass.” I can not tell how many times I’ve heard people say atrocious things then blame it on their mental health issues.
He always has me near-tears when they bring him on. Like, he’s not a skit guy to put it kindly, but whenever he’s given the leeway to get personal his stuff is great.
