uh, no, honey, you’re a racist if you touch a black person’s hair without their permission because you feel like you’ve just got a white right to do whatever you want with this entire other human person’s body

Love GN’s couch/guests interact set-up and his snappy repartee. I just rewatched the Carrie Fisher episode from right before she died. <sniff>

God, I love binge watching Graham Norton interviews. They are A+++

This. For my money, The Nightly Show was the best out of all of them.

God yeah, I normally don’t watch any Fallon stuff, but I *needed* to see Cardi B and John Mullaney have a conversation. They were delightful together, but it also served to remind me of exactly why I don’t like Fallon at all. I wish everything had been the same, but they were on Seth Meyers show together instead.

Jesus, Fallon kept interrupting and breaking up their flow, it would have been so much better if he just sat back and let Cardi and Mulaney interact. This is where good interview skills is crucial: not just knowing what to ask, but also when NOT TO TALK FALLON JESUS. This is where Graham Norton excels.

I’ve seen the TLC “Behind the Music” too many times not to cringe at this story.

This is the bit of news that stood out, for me. :(

Aw man, Night Court was great and 65 seems too young. :(

You are very welcome.

“vernacular authenticity and rhythmic dynamism”

My daughter plays in the marching band at Morgan State University so that was my vote. I’ve been a band mom for years so anytime I see a HBCU marching band I fall in love all over again. East Coast HBCU’s never seem to get the same love that our southern schools do except for Hampton and Howard but whatevs.

They they actually donate millions and millions to various charities and causes. This is just one donation.

I voted for Les Twins even though I have hardly forgotten about them; I follow their every move on Instagram.

The Juvenile “Back That Azz Up” break during “Crazy in Love.” I vote for HBCU marching bands to perform with her every single show from now on.

Considering Solange didn’t make a physical appearance in Lemonade, I was totally blown away and pleasantly surprised by the sister dance. I never thought that was gonna happen, at least not at Coachella, and not anytime in the near future. I actually didn’t believe the first grainy IG video I saw of them dancing

I loved the entire thing, but her performing I Been On had me shook! I’ve been wanting that for a minute. Also, the “Everybody Mad” dance break (right after Diva) was amazing, Bey hit one of the sturdiest milly rocks I’ve ever seen. Bey bringing back Check On It and Deja Vu was dope, too. The whole thing was great and

i can’t help but think it could have been even more epic if she’d had, i dunno, 20 more dancers.

This NY resident is on the fence. I’m as leery as anyone about actors throwing into politics but her history of activism inclines me to not write her off immediately. She’s getting some pretty big backers and Cuomo is definitely scared, which surprised me and actually makes me take her more seriously. I honestly don’t

I live in CA and was in college during the whole Gov Schwarzenegger thing. I didn’t vote for him, and thought he was a joke at first, but can say he wasn’t the worst governor. Definitely not the best, but we all survived. Curious to know what NY residents think about Cynthia Nixon? Are you guys here for this? Or are
