They celebrated their 300th episode last fall. I guess they’re going after ER which had 15 seasons. For dramas NCIS and Law and Order: SVU are the only two ahead of it with 15 and 19 years running! (The Simpsons win with 29 seasons..)

I believe she was saying that decisions about hiring and firing other people on the show is up to the producers, studio and channel execs and not her.

The main reason ABC picked up Grey’s is because it’s still killing it in the ratings with over 8 million live viewers a week. This article is from January before sweeps and the Olympics hit.

Yes. It’s back in the top 3 for ratings Drama wise and has been for the last few years now. It has great ratings and fantastic 3+ day viewership.

That’s interesting! Ellen Pompeo’s huge pay day was news a few weeks ago. Anyway, Grey’s has been in the top 3 ratings for Drama for the last 2-3 years now. Netflix led to a resurgence.

You’ve missed many awesome seasons. There was also an amazing episode two seasons ago directed by Denzel Washington... so good.

If anyone is watching Grey’s besides me (and I know millions still are..) they would know that Arizona and April are at a standstill. They aren’t in any exciting couples, they’ve hit a plateau as characters, and it’s not surprising to me that they would roll off.

I know that the men who end up with the role of the Phantom are considered to be hearthrobs in a way... but yeah.. creepy..
