Bang.
Bang.
Apparently the drop off in viewing hours was quite steep not long after launch which precipitated this outcome.
André Nemec’s adaptation doesn’t trust the audience nor does it trust itself
This is the trap of anime. It’s successes invites people to attempt a live-action remakes for profit (understandably) but only those who don’t appreciate the inherent value of the form of anime itself would fall for it.
I say good riddance, if only for the conversation about what Vicious does with his pubic hair. They really laser focused in on the big, glaring thing the anime was “missing” and made up some fanfic-tier shit to fill the gap.
Tank!ed. Ha! Sad face.
There’s a lot of discussion about her absence (now she’s having sex in another city, London, after she and carrie had a falling out when Carrie fired her as her publicist), as Carrie and Miranda go on ad nauseum about how they’ve all tried to reach out to Samantha. It’s not their fault, the show appears to be…
Sorry, but if there’s one thing that LeVar Burton’s stint taught us, it’s that there is no room to improve, and a shaky initial performance is an instant disqualifier.
She can say and think what she likes, doesn’t make any of it true.
Here’s a pretty famous quote from the philosopher Karl Popper that sums it all up:

You are not the only one who finds this ridiculous. She is bringing attention to the enormous backlog of unprocessed rape kits in the country. She can only do what she can do, and that’s what she feels she can make a difference doing. Don’t damn her for not fixing every ugly police department in the country; she…
I can’t be the only one that finds this slightly ridiculous, right? They want her to quit SVU, because too many people believe a fictional cop show represents the actual NYPD? I’ve always viewed SVU as a fantasy, just like Grey’s Anatomy. I don’t assume all doctors are hot and fucking in closets.
So basically his Brooklyn Nine-Nine one-shot, but after the apocalypse?
As an added note, things like soft cheeses, pastes, etc. may still be tossed, so make sure to leave the spreadable items at home. While the TSA page may say one thing, it is still up to the discretion of the agent at the gate and you will not win an argument over if something is solid, liquid, or gel. Plus, you will…
“that she’s not enough of a looker to make it in the movies”
