I wonder if women get briefed by developers/publishers when they’re hired to act or model for a game, if they’re at all made aware of what will happen in social media as a consequence of being hired. I wonder if, whoever will end up being cast as Abby in HBO’s adaptation of The Last of Us, she will be made aware that,

On one hand, I’m guessing they’re just talking about the game, not life.

On the other hand, you have made me realize just how much life is like a souls game; endless challenges made arbitrarily hard for the benefit of the few, and the only advice anybody ever gives you is “get gud” and expect to fail for most of it.

Even I was relieved when I clicked and it was an actual list!

So in the regards of any future plans, titles, and such being leaked, I say “you reap what you sow.”

The supporting cast in BG3 was indeed killer, my personal favorite being Alfira with her Disney moment song. Fuck, even the animals had more character than most of Bethesda’s main characters.

Baldur’s Gate is just chocked top to bottom with really memorable characters. Larian is so good at creating characters that are immediately memorable- whether it be design, characterization, their quests, or a combination of all three. Even when the characters are archetypes or tropes, there’s something about them

Having your home base just chuffing about the map at all times is one of those generally inconsequential but incredibly fun immersive details that elevate games from a pasttime to an experience. :)

It’s the fact that it’s EVERY. SINGLE. Franchise and adaptation.

“They’re annoyed at the enormity at which those things happen, often seeming extremely deliberate in it’s attack on “straight white men”

Oh come on. As a straight white man, absolutely none of those stories with female or minority or LGBTQ even remotely feel like an “attack”. You know why? Because I’m a well adjusted

Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.

People incapable of character growth hate character growth.

“In a surprise announcement, the Republican National Committee has revealed it is bankrupt” XD

tbh, that was the goal

Don’t blame the developers, they are given limited time and money and manpower and told to spin straw into gold. What is shown here is a glorified “grey box” stage of development, and if this was a pre-alpha, it would seem like it had promise. Don’t blame the developers for being denied the ability to hire the right

I cannot kill my friend.

production director on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf”

It’s actually worse than that. He says he regrets hurting him BECAUSE Paul Pelosi wasn’t his target. Meaning, “I regret hitting him with a hammer when what I really wanted  to do was kill Nancy Pelosi with a hammer.”

Quite frankly, the only thing that makes any Bethesda game worth playing is exploration. The designers themselves have stated that they always build their worlds first, and then write stories around them, which is why so many design choices in past games have always felt like an afterthought, because they basically

yuffie: unironically (no one was looking at her)
aerith: flirtily (as a maybe-joke)
cait sith: as a joke
cloud: as a joke in an affectless monotone after someone (i.e. aerith or tifa) sees his chiseled chest
barret: i think its possible but only if he thinks that its hip to say with the kids. he embarrasses the rest of

I’m American now but British by birth and my family moved here in the midst of that kind of horror show. Now, you’d think I’d be used to it given that we have an actual Royal Family that is the literal definition of useless prats sitting atop an actual throne of excess and farcical trappings of grandeur. And I guess I
