Fran is delightful. The visual design is so egregiously fanservicey (I mean, please: she’s a six-foot-tall bunny woman in a leotard) that I was instinctively braced for bullshit, but she’s written and performed as such an interesting character that I forgave a lot, and her dynamic with Balthier (such a fave of mine)…

I particularly appreciate that the punchline got delivered by Kevin Spacey, who was actually _in_ a Pixar movie.

Going by what we've seen of the Grim Fandango remaster, I'm not worried. The changes there are really pretty subtle.
