You wouldn’t think localization would be that much of an issue when there’s no dialogue at all, right?

There’s a photo from SakuraCon that made its way around online (and I’d include it here, except the artwork’s a little NSFW) of Matthew Mercer signing someone’s McCree body pillow.
First step upon obtaining this: printing up a “GO TO SLEEP” speech bubble to hang above Morgana’s head.
He is, after all, the leading man.
Fran is delightful. The visual design is so egregiously fanservicey (I mean, please: she’s a six-foot-tall bunny woman in a leotard) that I was instinctively braced for bullshit, but she’s written and performed as such an interesting character that I forgave a lot, and her dynamic with Balthier (such a fave of mine)…
I particularly appreciate that the punchline got delivered by Kevin Spacey, who was actually _in_ a Pixar movie.
I attended Sakura-Con this year for the first time, the first anime-centric con I’d been to, and it had _terrible_ line management policies during the con itself. It was mind-boggling to me, especially compared to the way ECCC and PAX work in the same convention center; it’s obviously a fixable problem. But at least…
The first thing anyone ever said to me in a multiplayer console environment was a teenage boy telling me he wanted to bend me over and fuck me up the ass.
Skeezy but typical. The odds for women in anything but blind applications/auditions can get pretty skewed.

Going by what we've seen of the Grim Fandango remaster, I'm not worried. The changes there are really pretty subtle.
Trance Vibrator support or no buy.
Believe me... it was. (and apparently it was so amazing that the comment just HAD to post itself twice for emphasis. ;)
Bear in mind: Good Morning America is an ABC show. ABC is owned by Disney. The placement, at least, was not an accident.
I have to applaud the editing choices (if not the copy editing) in this video, because just as I was about to cry "Elliiiieeee, nooo!!" there at the end...
Bonus points if you know the lyrics from before AND after they had to edit it to account for Czechoslovokia splitting up.
Oh, believe me, GameStop can "go down." I've had to walk out on purchases twice — once because their credit card readers had gone down, which can happen to any retailer. The other was thanks to a full-out power outage, on a big new release Tuesday. They were stuck trying to refer the pre-order crowd to other stores if…
"When there's a tough, dirty job to be done, Northwest folks roll up their sleeves, grit their teeth… and rent their goats."
Yep. Consoles are for people who want to use a product without fighting with the technology.
