LiPos are capable of huge power output and have incredible density, but are also the most dangerous and least durable of lithium chemistries. Totally inappropriate for use in a car, that's for sure. LiPos are what gave Lithium batteries a dangerous reputation.

I agree. At some point the EPA testing will catch up and reveal that turbos really aren't as efficient as the current testing makes them look. Turbos were big in the '80s also, then we had a 20 year drought.
