Bang.
Bang.
Like everything else I've seen about the movie, that Exodus poster looks hilariously awful.
That whole movie was a rather pleasant suprise.
It's quite an interesting paradox. Which came first, the lead poisoning, or the irrational gun-happy aggression?
Idunno, there are several shots of the team where they look like they've been through absolute hell. Especially Banner. We did get a lot of action porn in this trailer, but looking at this gives me a lot of confidence that it'll also deliver on the story/character side of things.
Eh, he's not headlining big blockbusters any more, but he seems to still have fairly steady work, if mostly in supporting roles. And his life certainly doesn't seem to be dominated by that one superhero role he played 20 years ago like his character in Birdman.
A slight improvement over her Wonder Woman look.
99% of my enjoyment of Game of Thrones is watching great actors do their thing, and at this point, pretty much all my favorites are dead (except Tyrion, of course.)
This is why people who want Firefly to come back are wrong.
That Barad-Dur costume is genuinely awesome.
Kirk Cameron makes for a great DIY Halloween costume. Just carry a banana everywhere you go and spout ignorant drivel to everyone you meet.
My overwhelming reaction to everything I see about Birdman is a feeling of gladness that Michael Keaton hasn't actually fallen into obscurity like his character. That said, we need more Michael Keaton in our movies, dammit!
October reads so far: Storm Front, by Jim Butcher, Harbor, by John Ajvide Lindqvist, and The Jennifer Morgue, by Charles Stross. Really liked them all. Lindqvist continues to impress me as a writer of thoughtful, emotionally resonant horror. Stross is funny as hell.
"This is probably justified in some cases (both the final Harry Potter book and the third Hunger Games book are pretty massive and would be hard to fit into a single film.)"
Dammit, Robbie, the polar bears are having a hard enough time these days with the melting ice caps! Must you really make things even worse by shooting them all just for the sake of a riddle?
Ah. I read the initial post as someone who is content ONLY playing the same character (or minor variations of said character) for the next 20 years. Now I see what you meant.
Or they could do both at once, like the original trailer for The Lion King.
You should pay more attention to Hiddleston's non-Avengers movies. He's done some great work in other roles that aren't remotely Loki-esque.
Meh. I suppose Scarlett Johansson's complete lack of expresson could pass for the Major's cool demeanor?
Well, I meant for formal settings and writing. In informal settings, do whatever the fuck you want.
