The difference is, Marvel actually knows what the hell they're doing with their properties, so Sony is actually preventing them from making good movies. I'm torn. On the one hand, talking how much easier things are now is a huge red flag to me. That mindset has been behind a lot of terrible, sloppily-made movies of the CGI era.
