Whatever it is, I'm willing to bet they still wouldn't be able to get a Wonder Woman project off the ground.

Pacific Rim: The Animated Series. Watch the adventures of Raleigh, Mako, Stacker, and the gang as they get into wacky adventures, alongside their mascot, an adopted pet kaiju named Ralph.

George Lucas brought this one upon himself by not allowing us to get our hands on the original versions.

Your comparison half works. Stuff like Grown Ups 2 is indeed mind-numbing, idiotic dreck. But Pacific Rim is not an intelligent movie. Plenty of fun bits, for sure. But oh so dumb.

The magic in Earthsea is so amazing. Better than any other writer I've ever read, LeGuin makes it feel like magic permeates the very fiber of her world.

Hahahaha, what a perfect analogy!

I like to think that .gifs can have value independent of their source material.

That's because the lightsaber battles in the prequels.

No.

Yeah, that might work, but they're really not worth saving, period.
