They would’ve been much better off separating the online components and slowly building a GTA world type map. A big online-only game, one island/state at a time at a time.

Funny though, that I spent A LOT of time in GTA IV multiplayer, made friends, had lots of sessions in-game with my irl friends. But I must’ve spent all ofa few hours in GTA V multiplayer doing bounties or dying to an attack chopper, bored to tears.

My experience exactly. Switch off friendly mode and then attack chopper homes in on me immediately. Put friendly mode on, wait what was I supposed to be doing again? Fuck it, switch friendly mode off again.
