I just want to note, all of the errors grammatical or otherwise are entirely down to the mobile site + Android. It's a nightmare.

This is something that’s getting lost in the noise. The inherent sexism here is extremely telling, seeming to say: these women will never design/write/animate these characters but we will ask them if our man made designs are any good. If she’d says “yes”, then it’s a go. If she says no, well that’s just a yes better

My thoughts exactly, spot on. With just as much fervour though, I can almost guarantee they are trying to figure out ways that they can make this legitimate and get a cut. If there's one thing Amazon will do as much as protect its back, is monetise the empty space on their back.

Sure man, sure 😏

Cornered? Hahaha! Honestly, I have to thank you for giving me a good laugh, we could all do with one at the moment. As it is you couldn’t corner a corner, even if you tried 🤣

My first thought: litigation. Taking Oglivy to court would do it.

Twitch will absolutely crush this. On any given day I would usually say they’ll be so slow to react as to basically be sterile. But with Amazon footing the bill, and the people involved both in front of the camera and behind... This is going to be a nightmare for twitch behind closed doors right now. They will likely

My favourite streamer did exactly that, left me... questioning. On the other hand though, at least it’s a Tesla.

The proof is in the pudding my man, she’s in this position in the first place because she’s an idiot, she’s posting “apology” videos on YouTube because she wants attention and at the same time she can spin doctor it. It’s all about the spin, views, ad revenue =/= money. If you think she’s been about anything but the

Well, it’s no mystery who you subscribe to on twitch... 🤣

I concur. I’ve asked elsewhere what forgiveness looks like, and if there is none: what do people actually want? A death sentence, of sorts?

A straight remake in a new engine and for consoles would’ve absolutely been a better option, for all of us, new audiences like yourself and original players like myself. Man, now that I think of it, I would kill for that.

That’s fair enough. I don’t run a successful website so I should leave it to the professionals. I’ll always have my reservations though. I’ve seen enough of the insidious stuff they do in the game industry (exclusive events, hotels, VIP packages etc) to take everything with a possibly unhealthy dose of salt.

Mostly 😅 This is Lifehacker so I did hope it was true at least. The opening cynicism was very encouraging, but Disney know better than most that coverage is coverage, good or bad, for the most part.

You really shouldn’t insist on holding other people to certain (low) standards, just because you might feel bad about that time YOU dropped the slur in question, or some such. I’ve never been racist in my life, not once. I come from a place where racism gets you killed, where a lot of things get you killed honestly.

Understood perfectly. Anything inferred was entirely on my part! I’m just bitter and really would love a publicly accessible ethics/code of conduct or just some clarity on “sponsored” content across Gawker.

I’m not saying I didn’t do some extremely dumb and reckless stuff when I was teenager, but I never betrayed who I really was at my core. Which is to say I never used racist words in casual conversation like an absolute dickhead would, but to each their own.

Now playing

The werewolves were part of the original game, there were storylines and even characters (a boss fight at one point) but they were definitely still relegated to the sidelines. The plot didn’t really have room for them without shoehorning it in amongst the overriding vampire apocalypse stuff. Though they could easily
