Can I please discuss “Doc” Antle’s cult with someone...how is that not getting more talked about. HE IS RUNNING A TIGER SEX CULT.

Honestly I found this documentary too sad to be entertaining. Netflix is selling it as some sort of bonkers wacky adventure with colorful characters and crazy twists, but it’s really just a depressing glimpse into the lives of people with unaddressed issues of abuse/abusers, poverty, and drug addiction. 

It was an open bribe to the Olympics athletes, whose fame could do the most damage to the company.

It’s also very suspect to me that this piece so clearly said that (some) Olympic athletes could be entitled to more $$ than “non-elite” gymnasts, which clearly contradicts the “severity of the abuse” criterion.

This is my thought exactly.  Offensive.

What the hell does your ability as a gymnast have to do with “severity of abuse”?

I don’t generally follow royal news, but I do read The Guardian, and wow I was shocked by how anti-Meghan their coverage has been. It’s subtle, but it’s all from the perspective of courtiers (their actual term!) and don’t make any mention of all at how Markle’s been treated in the press and the general racist vitriol…

Either, “The Sussexes are leaving because they are tired of work and want to party with their Hollywood friends, causing the poor Queen so much strain and breaking her heart. The general feeling I’ve read from royal gossip devotees is that this was in the planning for months but The Sun got a leak (because at this point Buckingham Palace is porous as a sieve) and Harry jumped the gun to get in front of them and other tabs reporting. It seems rediculous that the press is calling this “Megxit” when it involves Harry too. Even in this story, it’s absurd because Elton John was a friend of Harry’s long before he got married.

Yes, they, like me check out all things pop culture. For example, so far Katy Perry is meh to me music wise, but she has a couple of bangers I like. If she came out with a new album, I’d give it a quick listen. And I may find out I actually like the album.   

I have never understood why Jezebel dislikes her. While I’m way out of the demo for her music (or really any music discussed on Jez), as a person, she seems like a remarkably together young woman - and staggering success doesn’t appear to have made a mess of her. This was on CBS Sunday Morning today; worth a look.
