Also, the seat belt rides up to my throat and I have keep pulling it down (I’m only 5'3"). I don’t even want to imagine the neck injuries I will sustain if I’m in a serious car accident.

Chosen seating position by the driver has a lot to do with this. More than I think people are willing to admit. Since I spend 90+% of the year on a motorcycle I spend a lot of time watching other drivers and especially their hands.
A well-designed safety system should provide adequate protection regardless of seat or steering wheel position.
On top of that, when short woman drive they have to sit so far forward to be able to even reach the pedals that the force of the airbag coming out is likely to kill them. I saw this as a 5 foot nothing woman who has to sit as far forward as possible.
It was an extremely hard-to-miss performance, considering the documentary version dropped just a few weeks ago.
Yeah, it’s not like she whipped that up in 5 days time. And she’s worked with marching bands in her live shows way before Beychella. Homecoming is a HUGE artistic achievement and deserves all the props in the world. But this is accusation a little galling.
10 years too late? lol.
I’m not one to defend TS, especially at the expense of Beyonce, but isn’t it likely that this performance had been planned/rehearsed for months, and it was too late to change it up in the last few weeks since Homecoming was released?
Maybe marching bands are just awesome, and we can just celebrate mainstream celebs utilizing them in such high-profile ways.
Hot damn if Beyonce wasn’t about 10 years too late to the marching band concept.
Madonna did the marching band motif back in 2012 during her Super Bowl Halftime show. I doubt Beyoncé even thought about that when planning her (genius) Homecoming set/motif. And I seriously doubt Swift was trying to one-up Lady Bey with this performance. People need to stop pitting female performers against each…
She literally toured with an onstage marching band in 2009 but go off I guess.
So now an on-stage marching band is a thing only Beyonce can do? 🙄
Unpopular Opinion: Freddie Mercury is the role of a lifetime for Malek. I don’t blame him for taking it. I don’t blame anyone for wanting in on that film.
And yet...the production company isn’t being blamed. The surviving Queen members, who held all the power in this film production, aren’t being blamed. The studio isn’t being blamed.
Why are people blaming an fairly unknown actor for taking a job, instead of the studio who hired and paid Singer? Let’s not pretend that Rami Malek had any industry power before this movie. His credits are a cult TV show that few people watch or have even heard of, and a small part in one of the Twilight movies. He’s…
Maybe Rami Malek doesn’t read Gawker or take that site as any sort of serious news reporting? They did go down after refusing to remove the Hogan sex tape after all. So spare me the whole “Gawker was lookign out for these kids!!” when your own fucking manager at the website said he’d post videos of underage children…
