Couldn’t disagree more. Sony used to be great because the company has historically understood hardware very well and built good products. When software became more complex and a more critical component to development Sony started slipping. They’ve languished for years thanks to horrible software development internally

It’s fair that knowing why you need to do something, or why it’s important (worth doing) will help motivate you to finish it, but it’ll still boil down to one of two things: does the activity help accomplish some need (like to earn money for buying important necessities, aka food, rent, etc.), or does it provide for

Where to start...

I was using Apple Music until I got the 4-month free promotion for Play Music/YT Red, and on day 1 I fell in love with how good GPlay Music is. The service for radio is light years better than iTunes Radio, which as I wrote before used to be on-par with Pandora but now I think is the worst of all music services.

In my opinion it’s worse for a few reasons:

It’s depressing. I paid for Apple Music for a year before realizing that it was by far the worst service. Google Music is better, Spotify is better...and we’re not talking about old services that have come and gone. The only thing that Apple has going for it is that Apple Music is connected directly to iOS and MacOS

Never.

Just do what I do with all Apple-built hardware you own: don’t ever update it. My 2012 Mac Mini runs great, my iPhone SE is on iOS 10 but a stable version, and I upgraded my MacBook Pro to the latest version of MacOS and things just got worse. Thankfully not planning on keeping that one.

Can I Stream It hasn’t been properly supported for years. Reelgood is much better, is supported, and is up to date. Their app is super useful too.

I’ve always found that the best way to get the body shape you want is to do exercises that require (or become easier) with a particular shape. Running, for instance, is a great way to lose fat not only because of the cardio (which is the main thing here), but also fat specifically around areas like the stomach and

App itself is fine, nothing special albeit useful for visualizing regular spend. Would be more useful to see not just what services you’re using personally or for business, but the option to separate the two. Would also be nice to see what you’re saving by sharing accounts (how many of us are on someone else’s

Firstly, good on you Tom for reporting directly on this. Aside from the fact that if I were you I’d be concerned with throwing any opinion into this one...

I signed up for the LA library a month back and Kanopy is okay, but the selection from both them and Hoopla isn’t great. It’s nice if only because it’s free with the library membership, which is also free, but all of the good stuff worth getting is either very old (not that that’s a bad thing) or you need to “borrow”,

I’d recommend skipping the Hulu deal; it’s been around for awhile and I actually got it about a month back, but it’s with commercials only; upgrading to remove commercials starts the billing cycle immediately. So if you’re like me and haven’t paid for cable and have avoided commercials in video streaming for awhile,

So it’s a desktop (which you turn on and off all the time), not a laptop (which stays in standby when not in use with tons of work sitting on it). That’s my main problem; even having moved everything I do to online services, the frustration of having to boot back up (when I should already be in), open everything I had

You tell me so I don’t have that problem anymore. My only guess is you’ve got a professional version (some $200+) and have auto-updates off.

I’ve got a better sure-fire solution: don’t use Windows 10.

Tried it, felt weird. Mostly because it can’t do anything you’d want your computer to actually do.
