I’m glad somebody repped Driver, such a good game!

I was fresh off the boat in NYC and in my first job in ‘93. We got our hands on Doom at the same time our 4 Dos PC’s got connected to a Netware LAN. It is hard to describe how face-meltingly amazing the Doom experience was back then, nothing else came close.
Dark forces 2: Jedi Knight
Still very playable.
Snore. They’ll be brought back next summer in some kind of “all new, never before experienced event” that will “shake the foundations” of “everything Peter/Miles/whoever believes” and we’ll be asked to wonder “can things ever be the same?” after “the balance of power in the universe is altered”. Hot garbage, weekly.
As an Irish person, I too will always like a real “Chip” with vinegar if I can get it, and here in the ‘States a properly cooked steak fry is often as close as you can get. As is noted, it is all about how you cook the humble potato.
I’d probably swap out The Commitments for The Snapper, but that’s just me. I’d also put The Guard on here, another great Brendan Gleeson performance.
I live upstate and can confirm that Stewarts is great. The hand-packed pints are great, the coffee is good, and the air for tires is free!
We had a 2013 Venza awd xle as our main car for 8 years, it was grand. Decent mileage, decent trunk and plenty comfortable for our somewhat boring needs. They should have just made an awd Camry wagon and gone all in, but what can you do? I will say that the latest Venza remodel is pretty hideous.
The world’s richest jerk thanks you for your support. Your kind words fighting on behalf of the African miner’s son keep him going as he toils alone in his humble factory all day and night trying to make the world a better place, lol.
Thank you for a respectable shout-out for the humble crisp sandwich. The point about the wackier flavors being good choices is true, but alas in Eire/UK we have way more flavors of crisps/chips than are available here in the USA. As you write, salt & vinegar are widely available, plain chips are a bit too plain, as…
That clip looked more like Cheers for west village gentrifiers, with a cartoon ape in the role of Woody. No big loss methinks.
I started Wildlands recently and have enjoyed it. Huge world, drive, fly, boat or walk around, and go hard or go stealth once you’re on target. Not as pretty as FC5, but bigger, more varied biomes. Worth it for $20, but I wouldn’t pay full whack for it.
This looks great, and not a raisin in sight, can’t stand them in soda bread.
With all the double-casting, who’s to say this won’t be the Mirror Universe Trek movie? Chris Pine has been very beardy lately, that can be trimmed to a goatee easily...
We screen it and ration it. When we get back to the house we’ll usually have our kiddo empty it out so we can separate the wheat from the chaff. There are some things he doesn’t like, twizzlers for example, and we’ll take those and leave him with a stash that is all for him. Once that’s done the beast can only have a…
“fix” the cover by photoshopping on a foreskin. Problem solved.
The Canto Bight package.
The dogs in Old Town bar in NYC have always come like this, although until recently the split top rolls were not that common in stores etc.
What kind of world do we live in where one can write an article about the food of the future coming in cube form and there being no mention of Star Trek TOS, which showed these geometric nibbles in action?
It’s like a curvy predecessor to the Acura “beak”.
