Wulf was THE MAN. You do not mess with Wulf or he get's all viking on you with Der Happy Stick.

I read it rather a long time ago (20 odd years), but I remember the Gremlins novelization being pretty good... It also contains the only chapter of any book I have memorized in it's entirety:

It did, but so did the 69 one. As well as "atomic batteries" or some such.

This needs to happen... New Top Gear segment: Star Cars with a Reasonably Priced Driver.

"instead believed that thrown dirt was more frightening than a gorilla attack."

True, because if you're playing that game you get raised a Death Star, and then a Halo Ring, and then a Dyson Sphere and so on and so on...

I'll give you a reason.

Their marketing has thus far failed to convey that. I'm willing to wait and see, but based on the trailers my interest in the game has dropped significantly. In previous titles all sides in a given conflict felt equally fleshed out and equally righteous (at least to themselves), with the villains being the

"if the game is good and marketed well it will sell most of the time."

"The same machines that lock up constantly, destroy game discs etc etc."

3. "Why's the girl got such a teensy gun?" seems to be a popular question. I have to wonder if any of the complainers have ever seen a Bond movie - or maybe the issue is that she's a girl with a small gun instead of a guy. It's not the weapon, it's how you use it, and I suspect she can use it just fine.

Misha is, it's yet to be seen whether he's playing Cass ;) (fingers crossed though)

He was in Castle last week, playing a 20's mob boss and his own grandson... Not Sci-Fi, but still awesome.

Not next week, next *month*. Sorry to break it to you. :/

When the game was still pretty new some magazine (I think it was C&VG) released a cassette with fully orchestrated versions of Passing Breeze, Magical Sound Shower and th theme from 720 Degrees on it. It was mind meltingly amazing.

Yeah, it's not the best (My money would go on Rambo, Monty on The Run or Turrican), but given when the game came out and how state of the art the arcade machine was this was still a pretty jaw dropping (ear mangling?) rendition on a home system.

I'm with you. After an enjoyable (but, IMO, overhyped) first two books the third one was a huge letdown.

"The domestic box office gross is what we are accompanied to hearing on Monday morning"

I see a 2CV and I think of France, it's as brutally simple as that.

:) Good Ol' Mr. Soak.
