My 29 year old daughter working in a gas station makes more than I do and I am a network engineer. Her making more money than her ex-husband in the same job was one of the factors that lead up to their divorce. I know for a fact that there are women at my company with the same job class as me making more than I do

I would have to disagree with every recommendation in this article except for maybe, maybe Black Lagoon. I don't mean to say Black Lagoon is bad, in fact it is pretty good, but some people would not get a show built around such a passive hero. My wife even thinks it moves too slowly.

So I'm thinking that neither of these guys have ever had St. Louis style pizza or toasted ravioli, two things I miss since moving to the south. I'm surprised they didn't mention cod sandwiches. I also miss the fruits and vegetables that we could get there. Everything here is limp and goes moldy in a day.

I am Happy to see a Zatoicihi film in there. Which seems kind a oxymoron because Zatoichi films are always such a downer.

This is my ten year old grand daughter that lives with me. She is a straight A student, a Second Degree Black Belt, studies ballet and dance, ran three 5ks last year, and is a damn fine shot with a bow and arrow. She hasn't been to church since she came to live with us, I am an atheist and my wife is an anti-religion

No! This is a huge shock! I feel terrible for his family. I don't know how to react to this.

I had an Aunt die of tetanus back in the 1940s. She survived the Japanese invasion and 600 mile walk to China to avoid capture only to be killed by an infected cut after the war. I also know people who have had diseases like polio and rubella and I have seen what these things can do to a person. These diseases can

A question. If it is Graphical Interchange Format, a hard G in Graphical, why would gif be pronounced with a soft g?

I think the people at Square Enix who are responsible for this are fools and the share holders should demand their replacement for intentionally keeping sales down. They are sitting on what amounts to a license to print money and doing nothing with it. Remember what they did to the gaming community back in 2006:

I'm not sure why you would consider the relationships "gross". It is really not uncommon for someone to marry the sibling of their spouse when their spouse has died. It's not illegal and they are no closer genetically related than they were to their original spouse. Sometimes the death of a loved one brings them

So a couple of questions.

Technically I would be considered an "old white guy" but I can't understand why people would vote for a party that got us into two unresolved wars and wrecked the economy. A party that has for the past 6 years fought tooth and nail against anything that would help this country.

Opinions are like A**holes. Everyone has one and they all stink. PBR is what I used to drink when all I had was pocket change on a Friday night. We used cans of Schlitz for target practice.

They are counting all women under the age of 18 as child brides. Therefore my grandmother was a child bride. Though forced marriage is a terrible thing I think we lump too much together. My grandmother was not forced to marry my grandfather and she was 14-15 when they met and he was 28.

On my mother's side my Grandfather was 30 and my Grandmother was 17 when they married. They stayed married for 64 years until his death.

Since the days of the Original Fallout I have had two names that I use when allowed to name a character Manmeat and Girlypop. 'Nuff said.

We could talk about Newton's Laws of universal gravitation, or Kepler's Laws of planetary motion, Einstein's field equation, Lense-Thirring procession and frame dragging, the equivalence principle or any of the interconnected theories and laws that explain gravity, but anyone who paid attention to Newton knew that

There are a lot of things we understand but cannot affect, just because we understand something doesn't mean we can do anything about them. We understand gravity but we don't have anti-gravity machines. That doesn't mean we shouldn't study things; better understanding can lead to acceptance. Saying that radical life

Wow, and still what I said in my first post in this thread. You are less likely to die young but you are still not anymore likely to live longer than normal. As I have said repeatedly modern medicine has improved your chances of reaching 85 but it has not extended a normal life time. In 1800 with an 'average' life
