The Cold Equations is the first thing I thought of too. So there wasn’t a sufficient margin of error built in to this ship either? Or the life support system was so poorly designed that one person could damage it so severely? Also in case any one is interested there is a rebuttal called The Cold Solution by Don Sakers.

Now playing

Kinda of a US Centric Trailer list. A trailer should make you want to see the movie and three of these trailers did not inspire me.

Between Dan O’Bannon and Ridley Scott they were able to come up with an excellent mash-up of “It! Terror from Beyond Space” and “Planet of the Vampires”. I think he should find another good genre writer and try a mash-up of two  other B movies. How about “Fire Maidens from Outer Space” and “Mission Mars”.

Well I have seen 27 of these movies. The Enforcer and The Dead Pool have more action than Magnum Force as far as Dirty Harry movies, but The Gauntlet is a bit more action packed (though not a Dirty Harry movie). I was surprised there were no Schwarzenegger movies on the list. As far as James Bond movies the action in

One of my favorite Saul Rubinek roles was Jason from “The Equalizer”. That character could very well have been the younger Artie from “Warehouse 13". Smart, manipulative, and dangerous.

In many jurisdictions portraying some one who is underage or purporting some one to be underage in a sexually explicit depiction is illegal.

I had a 1988 Aries K wagon with a 5 speed manual and a front bench seat. The bench seat had a cut out to accommodate the shifter lever. I bought it for $1200 in 1992 because the previous owner did not realize you had to do regular oil changes (or add oil for that matter) and it cost $750 to get a replacement engine

I remembered fluidics I just didn’t think anyone else would. The hottest technology of 1968. Along with the rolamite it was going to change the world.

So I have been hearing “We are one breakthrough away from having quantum computers.” since 1990. In perspective 1990 to today is the same amount of time separating the ENIAC and the 6502 microprocessor. Prior to quantum computers, optical computers were supposed to be the big breakthrough.

Needed to add “Frau im Mond” and “Kosmicheskiy reys” and make it ten. I have seen 5 of these. I guess you could add “High Treason” since the only version available is the silent print.

So now I can go ahead with building my RAIB (Random Array of Inexpensive Brains).

Yes I had Major Matt Mason, Sgt .Storm, the space station, the Moon Crawler. I miss that stuff still today.

Some young men are brought up to never touch a woman with whom you’re not familiar. Never touch a woman in certain places unless you are in an intimate relationship. And Never Ever do anything to hurt a woman. Also some young men are also brought up with the idea that all women are ladies and deserving of respect.

As long as it is not full auto, an SBR, or silenced, and as long as he doesn’t try to sell it. He should be OK.

In 1947 one of my aunts died from tetanus from a small cut. She survived the Japanese invasion and a 300 mile walk to China only to be killed by a simple cut.

There are about 37 million legal immigrants in the US. About 70-80 thousand a month arrive legally to the US. About 60% of those arrive on other visas (tourist, student, temp work) and have them converted to permanent visas.

I find that my tastes in music wonder over time and that currently I am listening to music as diverse as Die Antwood and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, I even have a favorite K-pop Band f(x). I was never a big fan of much of the music from my teen years, I could go the rest of my life without hearing songs
