Doubling down on hating the new guy never made any sense to me. Yeah, you can have or favorite. But change is what keeps stuff from being stale and boring.

I seriously watched 11th Hour again today. It wasn't a good idea. It is ridiculous. I'll be pretty much over Smith a year from now (Both Smith and Tennant were on the show the full length of a normal British show anyway, it isn't like we missed out). But today this isn't cool
Last year we had that really fun, clever, sweet, intriguing and only kind of brutal introduction to Clara (they just had to kill her the second we got her on the Tardis, that's just mean and perfect). This year … 11 dies.
This is very true. If it wasn't for all the Girls/Lena Dunham hate, there is no way I would have watched the show, especially after having watched the show and not giving a damn about it either way.

I am 100% certain I am the only person in my family who knows who David Tennant is. And my parents/siblings would be the target audience for this kind of show
The first book seriously drags those first 100 pages until the actual murder mystery stars. After that it is pretty good. The 3rd book is a waste of time though

It is End of Watch for me. Great movie. That ending was gut wrenching

Anna Gunn isn't exactly the American answer to Susan Boyle, but she isn't a bad actress or a 20-year-old Victoria Secret model dressed like a police officer either … that also sucks at acting
Plenty of people will watch this who have never heard of the BBC version. Like non Avclubers who don't even know who David Tennant is. These people exist.
Night of the Doctor did that for me.
