Could easily be GTE but due to some manufactures displeasure they won’t grant us a waiver to race in GTE until we sell 250 which will be a while...

In competition spec how would your car compare to the GTE class? Would love to see it get a Le Mans opportunity.

This would be correct. The car that did this was Chassis 002 and was fresh from it’s last VLN race where it’s sister Chassis 001 finished 2 OA and this one finished in the top 10. It was street legal except for tires. (SVA/Homebuilt in the US) and did this with restricted HP (490HP) and about 100KG of race ballast.

I can’t get enough of this car...

Dude... The Glickenhaus car is really cool and all but it is not an LMP1 car.

That makes a huge difference. I had no idea that wasn’t the original art paint. Too bad they didn’t bring it on the Antiques Roadshow and Leigh Keno is like... “what? You repainted it? This isn’t worth crap. I’ve seen spindly unrestored chairs from 1776 worth twenty times this.” As you watch the owner mentally

I did not know that. One would hope that anyone looking to shell out six figures for it would know it, though.

Also it’s a non-runner, completely seized up engine I believe. But you’re very correct, that is not the original paint, it’s a reproduction, a recreation.

Actually, there is a couple of steps missing in the lineage. It was painted dove gray by the family-and then it was repainted back to the mural for a show about Janis.

Is this tax avoidance or tax evasion?

Señor Glick, if I ever get a chance to buy your SCG 003, I’ll have it in that livery.

absolutely beautiful

Well played James. There are other events for the SCG003's, but this is special too.

We really enjoyed Quail this year with our #9.
