Beth, why the name calling? You’re better than that.

Some airplane seats slide forward and some do a compromise e.g. you get 1 inch of knee space and lose 1 inch of head space. Either way, people still freak out about the reclining, despite getting more leg space, and despite the fact we all paid to use the reclining feature.

Do people really notice? Or is it like, a loud tiny minority of people? I don’t notice people’s height unless it is *abnormally* different from mine, and even then I notice it like I would notice your hair color; neither a good nor bad thing - just a thing.

Same! I then put my Screenshots folder in the Finder window list on the left for easy access. This reduces my eventual desktop clutter by at least 90% :P

You’re assuming they both don’t think it’s a great idea.

That kind of empathetic storytelling is also helpful when driving. Maybe he’s going through a divorce. Maybe she’s rushing to the hospital where she just found out her mom was admitted. Maybe he’s rushing home to pick up his wife who is having contractions. Maybe she’s trying really hard but just doesn’t have the

Mainstream science reporting done right. Thanks, Beth!

FWIW, Dell has a WQHD 120hz curved IPS display available for around $1k. 4K at 120hz is probably another GPU generation or two away anyway.

Just a heads up, as you can confirm in forum searches online, at least the 27" version of this monitor does not play nice with many Macs and even hackintoshes. At least the early models didn’t - maybe the newer ones have a firmware update. It works plenty fine, but OS X isn’t able to wake it from sleep 100% of the

🤷🏻‍♂️I lost over 30lbs in the past 12 months so whatever exercise-free thing I’m doing is actually working too. I think you’re confusing me with someone else though. Not sure what all this talk is about cookies and crackers and whatnot. Though FWIW, I do eat a ton of Halotop ice cream, Shreddies breakfast cereal,

Yikes. Name calling probably isn’t necessary to get your point across here.

Please show me a study that says eating chips, gummy fruit snacks, and cookies make you lose weight.

If the “food” comes in a box or bag, it’s bad for you. Period.

If you’re a light sleeper or more of a quiet, non-partying type, pick a hotel that has an interior courtyard and book the interior rooms. Or stay outside the French Quarter on a quieter street.

Most of the historic plantations in the area are disturbingly romanticized. For a more accurate idea of what plantations were

They used to have one you could set with an app - it was really easy. The problem is you could ONLY set it with an app. Eventually the app stopped getting updated, stopped working, and stopping existing.

Which model is this? My last one from Philips was discontinued (the iPhone model) and did a very good job at going from candle brightness to lighting up the whole room.

Philips wake up lights taught me the important lesson to never to buy hardware that is dependent upon smart apps. Eventually the software will be abandoned and after one or two OS updates, your hardware is trash for the landfill.

Perhaps this is a consumer & environmental problem that requires a legislative solution?

I would not use almond. Almond milk is great for breakfast cereals and shakes, but for making something savory like this you’d be better off with unsweetened soy, cashew, or rice milk. Very important to get unsweetened!
