I am finishing up a similar 3+ week experience. After 5 days I felt like I was getting better for a bit, and started working again, and immediately got sick albeit with somewhat different symptoms (more chesty/coughy than before). I guess this isn’t that uncommon, as when your immune system is preoccupied with taking

...unless you do the jazz hands.

Another big differentiator that might be worth mentioning - the flu hits hard and fast, with the primary symptoms lasting around 5 days in adults. For colds, however, the primary symptoms tend to last 10 - 14 days. In both cases it may take quite a bit longer to get back to feeling 100%

...annnnnnnd I just ordered enough soup from them for freight delivery. Good prices and hard to find items. Thanks for the recommendation.

Oh yikes. That would make sense then. I think for a lot of people, especially most men who are blissfully unaware of various medical issues, makeup and skin care routines, drying and styling long hair and all that jazz, think of the bathroom as a 5 minute experience - maybe 20 if you’re also taking a long hot shower.

In addition to these occasional deliveries after their confirmation, I’ve had Amazon packages delivered to the wrong address over a dozen times - usually the house next door or across the street, but twice to the right house # on the wrong street. Each time I called, their customer service (both FedEx and UPS)

I say it and mean it. I don’t want more crap cluttering up my tiny house. I don’t want you spending money on a thing.

iOS Google Maps did this to me last week in Ottawa. Weirdest thing. At an intersection it turned me right, sent me a mile down the road, through a traffic circle reversing my direction, and all the way back to the same intersection to take a right; I could have just driven across the intersection. The road was divided

“...[10 minutes] might not seem like a long time...”
What?! That sounds like an eternity to us efficient poopers. 15 seconds and the job is done. Clean up, flush, and get out of there!

I am unable to use a Mac without Hyperdock. I am so reliant on it that I am briefly confused when encountering a Mac that doesn’t have it. I installed it on all the workstations at the office, spreading the reliance like some sort of efficiency virus.

Like many, I’ve seen and heard “beg the question” hundreds of times but only once in a by-the-book manner. If you want to pick up arms, you can join these soldiers on the frontlines: http://begthequestion.info/
...but history might view them more like grammar nazis. I think they may be fighting for a lost cause. 🤷🏻‍♂️

A few weeks ago I messaged a friend on Facebook that I had just, completely spontaneously, booked a flight to New Orleans. An hour later and for much of the day my newsfeed was filled with ads for hotels in New Orleans.

My first thought was those ads must have come from tracking on the airline’s website... but under Ad

Thank you! This was the last thing I needed to transform my iPhone 6s into a brand new iPhone X! I already popped the home button off the front and put putty in the headphone jack! Now it’s like I’ve got a brand new phone!!!

Well... f#ck. :-/

I did this for a couple of my pax and will be updating some of the remaining ones as well. What a difference.

To clarify, I do realize that many (and especially older) American history books often read like Columbus discovered the Americas, not for Spain, but more generally. I realize they tend to ignore pre-Columbian history of the Americas (both its earliest settlers and its various discoverers) and completely omit the

“if natives built a boat and decided to sail and ended up in Europe.. you would be OK with history books claiming those “natives” discovered Europe?”

Yes - just like I discover new music on Spotify. I’m discovering it for myself. I am not the first to discover it, but it’s a discovery. Columbus discovered new lands for

To be fair, more happens in a single episode of Rick & Morty than entire seasons of many shows. The plot pacing is manic.
