Great stuff. I love the MR2 story - the AW11 was VERY picky about torque spec. From the Holy Book of AW11:

At least something was blown that night. [JOKE ABOUT HEAD GASKET GOES HERE]

This girl I wanted to bang in HS had one. We tried fooling around in it one night and the roof liner catastrophically collapsed on us before we even got anywhere.

It was my mother, GR. Light blue 1985 sedan Celebrity. It was awful.

Love my bugeye! When you add aftermarket fender cowl braces and poly steering rack bushings things the steering feel sharpens WAY up.

Focus SVT anyone? The original Focus ST

I have the 2011 version, and while it’s definitely much heavier, it seems to handle well. (at least compared to the rest of my car history)

I drove one a few years ago and although I’ve never cared for the styling, I was still expecting it to be quick fun car. The RX-8 was one of the most disappointing drives of my life. It felt so wheezy. It was so torque-less that it sort of felt like the clutch was slipping throughout the entire rev range. Also,

lol I’m happy I didn’t get a ticket(as much out of shame as for the inevitable driving ban) for the one time(so far) I’ve raced. Late last year, I was in my parents Explorer on the way back from picking my bro up from work and one of his co-workers(not that I knew that at the time) pulls up in a little red 1st gen

Let me tell you something. I’ve worked for two different dealerships, and I’ve worked in sales operations at a corporate level for a major automaker. If I found out that a dealer wasn’t allowing test drives on a car that cost the same as a base 3 Series, I would be absolutely livid.

People in the know know. Others just see a douche driving a limo.

if you clicked ‘crack pipe’ you suck

I’m guessing that he has already slept with all of the women that such a vehicle would attract, and impregnated one of them, necessitating sale.
