Obvious answer is obvious.

I don’t think I would mind spending 1,800 miles in a Raptor even if it was pavement pounding.

Your award is always the best.

Thule makes nice boxes. While they are expensive I’ve had a Cascade XT for 10 years and expect to use it for another 20.

I’m always suppised how easily the subi’s oversteer given their front wheel bias. Once that center clutch locks up its opposite lock time.

I bought an Outback. It is a fantastic value if you need a mid size car that is capable on shitty roads, and like interior volume, and good fuel economy, and good resale value, and other reasons. It was an easy sell for me.

I like the new grill, less chrome the better.

I had a 1990 xt 6, only pushed the lock button once, it made tight corners difficult. I loved driving that car but the air suspension did not love me.

I couldn’t figure out what kind of bike is was, kinda looked like a super V or Trek Y bike, good spotting.

That is a great point. Rebuilding an engine and transmission was not unheard of at 50-60K miles back in the 50's and 60's. Now days we generally expect cars to go to 150k or more doing only routine maintenance.

Gotta air down for c4 corvettes.

The struggle is real (food everywhere, Sad).

Pug life.

I bet even at 184 HP the Mazda 6 still tops out at around 130 MPH/200 KPH. That is plenty fast for anybody. The only issue is that it just takes longer to get there than the buick.

Agreed, how old is that platform, 10 years plus?

Last time I drove the charger it was 2012 and it was already on a dated platform. Honestly I prefer the vehicle dynamics of the 4-cy Camry to the Charger. And holy fuck the camry kills it when comparing at fuel economy, I predict $4/gallon fuel in our near future.

How was the eyesight/collision avoidance/lane departure with auto braking feature? I had a 2017 outback with these features and they were very invasive and annoying. I must really suck at driving because the car was constantly beeping at me and at one point hit the brakes when someone turned in front of me about 1/2

My ‘13 outback had it’s short block replaced at 40k. It’s been burning about 1qt/1200 miles since about 25k. 10/10 would prefer a car that would do 100k then need head gaskets.

True, however this is pretty much status quo in Bay Area traffic, people see a gap and go for it even if they don’t have the room.
