Yeah, I don’t think they would have like it if I had passed them rolling at 100+.

I’ve passed plenty of police officers, nevery been pulled over for going the actual posted speed limit. I once even caught up to one with his lights on going to a call. I decided that it wouldn’t be a good idea to pass a police car with their lights on, so I kicked it down a bit.

I guess I should never drive in Michigan. I routinly go 70+mph on ice and snow, but that’s kinda the way of the wild wild west.

Proof Picard was the best captain ever.

Pick-n-pulls corporate office was across the hall from my office in Rancho. A bit different demographic than our office of enginerds and scientists. They wrecked the bathrooms.

I used to work right off of Zinfindale. Used to go to the pita place right next to Showgirls strip club for lunch all the time.

That is the auto dismantling row off of Sunrise BLVD. They have 1-2 yards for each brand. I bought a new (used) suspension for my Subaru XT down there when the air bags blew. It’s very unique to the west coast and seems to be a good way to get decent parts to keep your cars running.

We’ve had the misfortune to tow at max weight with the chevy a few times, it squats really bad. So we ended up getting the 1-ton ford from another office and I am hoping it will tow better.

To be fair these trucks handle much better with some weight in the back, like a couple hundred pounds or more. The chevy is no canyon carver either.

The throttle response is odd, I’ve noticed the same thing in our work trucks. The Ford diesel feel like it wants to rev and drives very easily, while the chevy duramax feels a bit flatter but accelerates at the same rate as the ford. Sometimes I just have to bury the throttle to make sure it’s still running, then the

Last time to Southern California I got a Ram 4 door truck with the Hemi, did not suck.

So if it’s between this and a Nissan Rogue in the National Rental Car Emerald Isle line of malaise at the airport which one do I take for two days?

This song has always made me feel slightly homicidal towards happy people.

Hazcom programs are basic federal law and have been for years. It is ridiculous that this is even an issue. The factory management is either oblivious or does not give a shit. Workers injuries resulting from lack of training or PPE are serious and have way more financial impact than some simple training and
