The damage is already done. They have lost the trust of developers and won’t be likely to get it back any time soon.

I think the complaints about having options for pronouns are dumb. I also think removing the mod is dumb. 

Reparations aren’t in any way connected to the economic rights King was advocating for. There is a clear difference between advocating for equal access to economic opportunity and asking for a cash payment.

It seems a little ridiculous to complain about the movie’s representation of trans people when Harris modeled the character on real life serial killers who had the same behaviours. Or are we not allowed to acknowledge the fact that several real life characters had sexual fetishes related to dressing up as women…

Really? Can you actually point out anything to show that what I said was wrong? It should be easy for the first point. Provide one thing King said that even tacitly supports reparations.

Nope. But parents also are the ones who have the primary legal responsibility and liability that goes with having the child until they give up parental rights or have them taken away.

I think you’re wrong on both counts. All of the outrage surrounding this that I’ve seen has been focused on young children. There aren’t many people talking about 16-18 year olds. The laws being put in place in Canada about this all stipulate it’s for children under the age of 16.

Nope. That’s BS. There are currently about 20,000 writers in the WGA and about 450 movies made last year and about 560 scripted shows. So there were about 1000 available projects for 20,000 writers. I don’t think it’s better at face value but I think it is better in the long run. I think people are far more likely to stop being trolls than to continue with something they consider to be good faith criticism.

Why are people so obsessed with knowing the sexuality of celebrities? It’s none of your damn business. Whoopi Goldberg has addressed this question many times before so why push the issue.

That’s not a compensation issue. That’s an issue of oversaturation of writers. Those are two different things.
