Why? They beat Alabama two years in a row (which means Alabama had to get two games on Ole Miss to win the tie breaker), and still couldn’t stop Alabama from getting in over them. Some teams find ways to choke. Ole Miss is one of them.

I’ve been saying this for years and it bears repeating here: just because some narcissistic attention whore calls a press conference, it does mean that there is some kind of contractual obligation for the press to attend.

I love some people in the media think garbage games like this are exciting because it was an “NFC EAST SHOWDOWN,” and that it-sort of justifies having 11 of these games nationally televised every year.

Another craptastic nationally-televised “NFC EAST SHOWDOWN!” I forgot that there was a game tonight until I saw this. That’s how far my interest in Roger Goodell’s NFL has dropped at this point.

So the list was made by a bunch of people who only watched games with “Dr. Pepper” in the title? That’s my best guess.

That’s more a statement on Les Miles’ coaching abilities than a shot on Fournette or the media. LSU was #2 in the playoff rankings and Leonard Fournette had lapped the field in the Heisman Trophy race.
