Not really seeing it in ALL its glory. Sure would be nice to see more than just the front end.

Small technicality, the engine is still in the car. It’s just the blower that blew off the car.

Well, to be fair, it is Tesla, so if it kills anyone, they will be praised for controlling population overgrowth.....

That’s probably another ‘cool’ Tesla easter egg.

One of the few missteps that Tesla has made is allowing beta autonomous features on cars IMHO. I’m all for creating the tech, but handing it out to people before it is fully tested and made as safe and, more importantly, idiot proof as possible is a mistake that could end up costing them everything.

This feature will park Model S while the driver is outside the vehicle. Please note that the vehicle may not detect certain obstacles, including those that are very narrow (e.g., bikes), lower than the fascia, or hanging from the ceiling.

[the Summon feature] was initiated by a double-press of the gear selector stalk button, shifting from Drive to Park and requesting Summon activation...

That said, Chrysler just recalled how many vehicles because their shifter didn't make it clear when the car was in park? Nowadays, human error doesn't absolve the design.

That's my suspicion. May be a good reason Tesla shouldn't put beta functions on cars sold to consumers, but this seems more like a user trying to get in the headlines. He claims it's only a $900 fix so he's obviously not after money.

Gotcha. I get annoyed by the “No CO2" vanity plates too.

If you want to be environmentally friendly as possible, don’t buy a hybrid, or an electric, or even a car for that matter.

Nevermind this

Came to comment on the error in the article title — tripling asking price doesn’t mean tripling value

except even then the Model S has had a high rate of replacements on its “core” tech.

Seriously, how much money do you have invested in Tesla? I’m not a conspiracy guy, but when I see entirely useless articles (Such as this), along with daily Tesla fluff pieces, it really makes me wonder. Will we be getting Elon Musk bowel movement updates soon?

Hopefully while sifting through the mounds of data from the Model 3 preorders they can figure out who's seriously going to buy one and who isn't.

If it was just a few minutes of an engineer’s time; then it’s very low quality. If they executed it with high quality, it was way more than “Just a few minutes”.

Except for all those that say, "Back in the right now, they were nothing but problems."

This is really a feature to entrance owners into forgetting that their car needs another major warranty repair, allowing them to still talk trash about every other brand with 1/5th the failure rate but “my uncle totally had one a decade ago and it was nothing but problems!”
