Cool, thanks for sharing that! I never had the pleasure of meeting him myself, but he always struck me as a genuinely good person with massive knowledge and insight of the industry.
Hell, I'm not even in Adam's shoes and I still daydream of meeting neogaf posters on the street and beating the piss out of them from time to time. I don't blame him at all, considering the bullshit reaction to his statements. That you take issue with that says a lot about you. I suppose when someone tells you they're…
I haven't! Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to check it out when I leave this hell scape I call "the office."
Thanks for all the coverage on this game Tina, definitely one I'll be preordering. Can't wait to see more of it in action. I'd really like to see a beginning to end match at some point to get a feel for how playing the monster works.
At least on PC, Valve could certainly be helping the situation by being a better gatekeeper, and by that I mean any kind of gate keeper at all. I'm all for everyone getting a fair shot, but some of the things getting through Greenlight, early access, and even Steam itself are atrocious. Not to mention the sheer volume…
Well, the original Flappy Bird is offensive to the concept of video game development as a whole. I don't care if it's easy money. Don't rip off existing games and add nothing of value. If you have the intelligence to program, you should have at least a shred of an original idea on how to use that knowledge.
... Wow. THIS is the side you're on, Facebook supporters.
Most jobs where you're creating things will have it in your employment terms that they have dibs on ANYTHING you create, at work or anywhere else. Zenimax has a case here, and a pretty good one.
I used to have faith in VR just like you, but then it took a Facebook to the knee.
Now for my "hate filled" answer : No. Or at least, not yet. My guess would be latency issues.
I'm thinking (hoping really) that eventually they're going to fold this into their mobile app. Have a smart phone/tv or tablet? Instant streaming machine. I imagine they could build BT into the Steam controller to solve the input issue.
I've been using this in beta for a few months now. It works amazingly well, wired or not. If anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer.
Yeah, he's there because Legends started as a Wii U exclusive. The idea was that 1-4 people play the normal running/jumping bits and then a 5th person would control Manny on the gamepad. Once it went multiplat, they decided to just leave him in anyway and bind him to a button press. Different tastes I guess, but I was…
Agreed, BlockCat's mother is quite the couples counselor.
Manny isn't in every level, but the ones he IS in really suck if you're flying solo. I thought so anyway. Origins on the other hand has no such mechanic. I love both games, but Manny should die a horrible death and never return.
Just started this on PC. Really liking the combat system. Well, aside from having to manage the support character. Rayman Legends (also on the ubi-art engine) suffers the same issue. It's great to have the secondary character there if you have a friend to control it for you, but in single player it's just an annoyance.
Same. My C64 and x386 actually taught me a lot of things before re-learning them in school. Ha, and my dad was firmly in the camp of "video games will rot your brain." Then the Cruisin' USA arcade showed up at the bowling alley. Haven't heard him complain since.
