....I too owned a BMW once... That warm and fuzzy german engineering feeling disappears real quick when them ”Codes come a callin”

Point well taken. Here’s my spin:

For that reason I bought a 8 year/100k warranty and a 8 year/100k Maintenance package for $3600 that covers among other things brake pads and rotor milling (comes in handy tracking it, already went through a set after 8k miles :) I was at about 40k with a base RS....Done!

Its not terrible. It has a firm suspension but thats what i expect in a track killing DD. I will admit it has some bounce to it AKA pogoing. Mountune has a set of springs that are less than $300 that pretty much get ride of the bounce while lowering it slightly, adding negative camber and should make it a bit quicker

I agree with those points. As an owner here’s my thoughts:

Agreed. The engine is very linear for a turbocharged car. Being a rather small twinscroll turbo it spools pretty quickly. There is some lag and you know your driving a turbo but its a good blend of torque down low and power up top. I don’t use voice recognition at all. I have an iphone so I press the phone icon then

I’m an owner. Since early August I’ve tracked it three times at Gingerman, Autobahn (Joliet) and Blackhawkfarms. This thing is an absolute blast! Understeer is virually non-existant. Yes if you come into a corner way to hot it will understeer somehwat. However, as the front starts to lose traction you get on the

I paid 40k for my RS with a 8year/100k warranty and 8 year/100k 20 visit maintance package that include brakes and rotors. Have you owned any of those cars mentioned and paid for repairs or to maintain them? Ive played the BMW game and never again because its not the purchase price....It’s the cost to keep driving it.

Do you want to know WHAT IT IS?
