No one, and I mean no one, is trying to covert/convince you that Black Bear Pass is something you should do. You said you “don’t get it” and I offered an opinion of how someone might “get it”. I hope you “got that”.

I can assure you there are a lot of vehicles that do this trail just fine without injury. You need to file this under the bungie jumping category to understand the hobby. Majestic views, mountain air, and a once in a lifetime road driving experience that will be seared into your brain forever.
I still cringe just thinking about this one: SIGMALE
There are other places to go to virtue signal on the Internet if you need that sort of thing in your life.
Upcoming 2022 Honda Civic hatchback would be a good fit here.
Ah, the old liberal snark masking for hypocrisy post. It never gets old. It’s like a cup of coffee in the morning these days for any non-leftist to feel like a reasonable human being.
I’m in agreement. Plus the Mazda styling is miles better IMO. The corolla should be a wagon and then it would be the cheese.
Really interested in seeing the hatchback version of this Civic. A touring model with hatchback would make a great road trip vehicle in the stable.
But they sell a lot of the 4Runners. Why change it? /s
Possibly a healthy 2-door demand in fleet sales? 40MPG is a heck of a drug for service delivery type vehicles.
This makes the assumption that we’re at peak population. From the information that I’ve seen, that doesn’t happen for another 80 years.
I remember when those came out and they said MSRP would be just north of 100K. 180K for one is absolutely bonkers.
>Premium fuel is not required, that’s a long standing myth.
Premium fuel requirement with mediocre gas mileage is a bit of a burn on a great little car. If you can get over that, this is a great car to own at a super reasonable price. Plus, as a person gets accustomed to the Lexus life, the GS350 (sadly, discontinued) is absolutely wonderful step up from the IS series at crazy…
You’re absolutely right. The problem starts with absence of critical thinking and steers right into poor impulse control of those people who are unable to see the world through anything but manufactured political stereotypes and moral judgements. This exists on both sides of the aisle and it’s mind blowing that people…
I for one cannot get past the design on so many of their models. The back 3/4 of most models are gorgeous only to be wrecked by the unholy front end they keep sticking on those vehicles. Very interested to see the new front ends.
I feel like this car was a lost bet between some auto execs during a drunken night of poker. “Ok, if I win you have to make the Murano convertible. If you win then I have to make a convertible Jeep Compass”
You really have to wonder how many local PDs have a policy of “home owners insurance will make them whole again” so we’re not going to work on it.
>Who wants to buy a 15 year old car for NEW car money?
I’m curious as to what your other options are for a 20 year old upscale/luxury small to midsized wagon with a decent chance at minimal maintenance costs for under 10K are? The only car that I can think of that comes close to this is the Acura TSX wagon, but that was in the last decade. MazdaSpeed6 but you’re not in…
