S4 is always going to be more expensive than an A4. But honestly, how often do $3k vehicle repairs spring up?

I didnt say NO insurance. Just state minimum. My state minimum covers quite a bit and then I have supplemental accident insurance for injuries. 

I do this “scheme” for auto insurance as well where I purchase state minimum coverage and then fund a “just in case” account about $200 a year. I drive mostly Jalopies so it works for me. 

I know not everyone is “great” with finances but you can save yourself a LOT of money if you just save accordingly. If the extended warranty is going to cost you $3,000 and is for 2 years and unlimited miles, then your banking that your car will need more than $3k in repairs over two years. Thats $125/month.

The Corvette pulls 1.03gs in the skidpad and has the same amount of horsepower. What do you define as a “sports car”?

The hell they arent. A stock Mustang GT will pull 0.96gs on the skidpad. Dont know why you have to form opinions on new products based on what the car was 30 years ago. Mustangs and Camaros ARE the American Sports car. 

Trust me, I would LOVE to own this car and its fire breathing 3-cylinder motor. At $30k its a very compelling case.

If you ever wonder why America doesnt get the Hot Hatches like the rest of the World, this (the price) is exactly to blame. No one would buy it (in any mass numbers) with such other cheaper ways to obtain speed. The USA is not burdened with narrow roads. Most cities can be easily navigated in a....wait for…

Well the new generation of vehicles is making performance numbers literally seem irrelevant. 718lbft of twist in a family hauler that does 0-60mph in 4.5seconds....and that isnt even NEAR “performance” in the EV space. Holy hell.

Yes they are. You can grow food. You can go live on BLM land right now. You dont need to log onto the internet. Luxuries are not necessities.
