I am not saying they are hurting for money. Thats the whole point, its for people who NEED money or people who WANT money, its just a way to actually make money. Thats it. The money doesnt care if you work 100 rides a night or one. You still get paid table scraps. Its up to the individual to make the assessment

Why do drivers need better pay? They have millions of drivers willing to do the work at the current price.

HAHAHA this is laughable.

If you had an unlimited mile lease on a Tesla and solar panels on your house, you COULD make decent money. Its entirely possible to make more than minimum wage. Its also possible to make money you simply couldnt. For instance, if I make $35k a year at my desk job but really want an extra $4-5/year what do I do if my

Hmmm, looks a bit different than what I use to Rally. My local Avis has a fleet of Sentras that always get the job done for only $49/day in added full coverage insurance. Just pop the hood, ditch the air cleaner, and run ‘er at full throttle.

Wrong. Uber and Lyft arent a job. Its side money or a way to earn income without any barrier of entry.

Uber and Lyft have expenses just like everyone else. Why do you need to know where their expenses are coming from as a driver?

You cant even begin to draw the connection between Uber and LoanSharking. That is bogus and you fucking know it.

So you are admitting that Uber and Lyft are aiding in the facilitation of your life choices and life style....so how are they the bad guy? If they are the best choice

which makes it so every restaurant or retail store has a “NOW HIRING. SIGN ON BONUS INCLUDED.” hanging in the window. Right now is the best time to hunt for a great job.

What do you gain from knowing what they charged? If the money doesnt make sense from the drivers perspective, what is knowing they charged 4 times the amount for the ride going to do? Make the driver keep driving? Or just cause the driver undo stress because he/she think they should be getting paid more?

And we always here about “Tony, the guy in Brooklyn who was FORCED to drive for Uber/Lyft full time because.....reasons.”

I think this really is what comes with any open book financing for a company and its employees. I have guys who will constantly complain that I pay them $20/hr and yet bill their work for $120/hr. They like to complain that I am making $100/hr by doing nothing....and then I tell them it costs me about $40/hr for them

You would think that IF conditions for drivers were so bad that the drivers would simply not show up to their part time gig......

I wish Formula E would step out of its spec series comfort zone and go all out with a series that simply tests which BEV is the fastest for 50 laps.

Man, those “wheels” on the rendering look like the marketing/photoshop/graphic designer was shitfaced drunk when he/she/they tried to place them into the CAD render....

This is a very Jalopnik car....that being said its a very funny, quirky, unique, hideous, and halfway finished looking design project out of BMW from the early 90s. I dont get how anyone thinks they look better than the E36 4 door or coupe. And it only came with a 4-banger.

In this day of Jaloniky Reading I learned that there are way more people on staff than I thought. The more you know.

THe $35k car is not $35k anymore. Stop saying it is with a 1% price increase. It is not available. You claimed it was. You are wrong. Accept it bud.

The $35k model does not exist. You claimed it did.
