This isn’t about the plug. It’s about the money needed to expand the charging network. The result of getting the money to expand the network may or may not involve the plug.

Did you read the article? This isn’t about standardization, there already is one, it’s about money and Tesla has none. As someone already pointed out:

The article never once talks about standardization. This is a financial decision because Tesla has no money to spend.

Huh? You really think the plug is the crux of the issue? Most anything can be changed or adapted. This is Tesla seeking money. When any public company hands out money they expect an ROI and not just “access.” The big players will just make this cost more for everyone else in order to maximize “shareholder

No. No. No. No.

I’m understanding to the issue but the root cause for those issues isn’t the subway. It’s choosing to live somewhere where you are way to dependent on someone or something else. If my car had variable warm up I would get a different car. If all cars had variable warmup and I needed something that DIDN’T do that,

If I did I would never get off.

Dammit. People are starting to catch on to me.

Thankfully not a lot. I couldn’t bear to listen to them. Yes, I’m an asshole. Yes, I’m married. Yes I have a kid. Yes my wife thinks I’m an asshole and I’m sure my kids will too. But I get shit done and don’t complain about things I am in control of.

Not really. I just think they aren’t complaining little pricks.

Everyone is choosing to do this. I feel no sympathy.

Me too. From the Great Lakes.

That’s their and your choice. What did you or New Yorkers expect to happen, there to be FEWER people living in New York?

Don’t hire people who live far away? Let them work from home? There are plenty of alternatives that a smart, resourceful employee and employer can do to alleviate the issue.

Probably. I like your style in providing solutions rather than just complaining about it.

It can be addressed by the provider or the rider. Complaining addresses nothing.

If you can afford to live in New York you can afford to leave New York.

I do and New York is not the place to do that. Thus, I don’t live in New York.

OH NO! 45 whole minutes of delay?! The horror. I think New Yorkers just need to get over themselves. I have a handful of friends who live in new york, but are not natives, and not a peep about the subway.

I’ll be 69! Hopefully I can 69 at 69 mph at 69 years old.
