Well, when you are in the middle of it, the view is different from the view from the outside. Are murders and car-jackings directly related? Nah. But are they both related to the overall violent felony rate of a city?  You bet.  When you live in a pretty "nice" area that you love and you know of three different

As a center of the road (if not left-leaning) moderate in a very politically liberal city, the claim that local politics is not directly impacting criminals is, by my direct experience, completely false. When you fail to apprehend, press charges, release, and/or otherwise let actual felony committing criminals go

As a moderate Biden, Obama, and Clinton voter in the excellent (if flawed) City of St Louis, I take exception. I can also see things with my very own eyes and can call bullshit right out when I see it.

Considering I live in a city that dominates the “top” three in terms of murder rate (and likely, car-jackings), where the majority of cases go unsolved, yeah, I’d say murder rates and car-jackings are related, and they are “serial” in nature.

Keenly aware of the double standards when you throw prejudice in the mix. I try to reflect on that myself and about situations I have gotten into. I have seen both sides of the coin, in person, on many occasions. My mindset when there is a felony committed with a gun becomes pretty clear, however.

Well, actually, getting multiple DWI’s and then getting yourself killed driving drunk is a very reasonable outcome in my books.  Getting shot while poaching on private land is, likewise, a pretty reasonable outcome in many cases.

In very few cases of anything does anyone ever “deserve” to die. Rather, certain activities have high likelihood of death as an outcome. Perform armed car-jackings and I believe your risk of early death naturally goes up.

You missed the “armed car-jacking” part, but that’s ok, just try to tweak the narrative for us. And “child”, my ass. This was not a “punishment”, this was an outcome, pure and simple, of the criminals’ direct action.  Luckily, innocent people did not die or get injured.

As a resident of a city where many, many car-jackings result in death to the victim, I believe you left out the very standard outcome: the armed car-jacker doesn’t get chased, dumps the car after totalling it, repeats the process over and over again (killing completely innocent victims along the way), and then

So, now, armed car-jackers (if true) are supposed to get sympathy when they get killed running from the police?

Extra stars for the exciting new numbering method.

For those uninitiated, bear in mind NYC requires you park at least 15 feet from the hydrant, too.  Getting a ticket when parked 12 feet from the hydrant is a little ridiculous, when it happens to you.

I believe YOU might be missing the point.  This car is clearly not for driving enthusiasts.  This car is for investment, art, and, most importantly, ego enthusiasts.  Your average Camaro will see more driving than all of these, combined.

Good to be thrown clear, amirite?  Unless, of course, you don't get thrown clear enough, in which case you get steam-rolled.

People are saying, that's who.  Very good people.

...uh.... might be off on a detail or two

Little known fact — the X-90 was actually a design exercise by Mazda Miata engineers.  It answered the question "What if we made an offroad Miata?".  It turns out, the result was not always the answer, so Mazda sold the rights to Suzuki.

Yes, here in ‘Murica, the want is strong for a more “truck-like” van, complete with rear drive. Companies with a business view, however, see the economic and practicality benefits the FWD chassis delivers.

I’d say you are well on your way into the highly lucrative weird car pick-n-pull business.

Nobody wants a “d” with a bunch of miles on it, however.
